Damn Viper players are so hard. She is quickly becoming my least favorite match-up. Good vids though. I’ve played against you enough to see that you were playing very conservative, which is understandable seeing as how you’re at a pretty big tournament. I know you do a lot of stuff on me because I give it to you free, but I see some spots where you didn’t do some things that I know you are very capable of. Case in point, at 3:30 vs. Mike Ross you landed cr. strong > cr. strong, but didn’t follow up with that cr. roundhouse link. I assume it’s because he had full meter, and you were afraid that if you missed your link, he could Super punish your cr. roundhouse on block. But I believe in you! Next time you should go all out and use those Daigo combos that you do to me all the time. Solar plexus > cr. fierce xx fierce SRK! 
Unrelated, I’m getting some HD video capture equipment in the next week or so and going to learn how to use it. If we ever do some serious throwing down I can record the matches and upload them to youtube for whatever. I also plan to eventually get into live streaming, but that may take a while to figure out. I don’t really know anything about recording or streaming, but I’m researching it pretty heavily right now. The recording end (so far) doesn’t look like anything that should give me any problems. Hardware wise I have a pretty decent grasp on the basics. The software part of it will take a bit more time. I have to look into some video editing programs and find out whats compatible with the hardware I’m getting, etc. As soon as I’m good and comfortable with that, I’ll look into streaming, in case we ever hold an epic tournament or something and have people that would want to watch.
That would be cool we can hold little tournaments and use uploads and streams to gather more people. Anyway if anyone is down for a session hit me up i got a stick and ive been practiceing a lot. Bu the way nice vids mike or should i say asian mike.

But yeah tourney play ends up being a lot more conservative unless I have a REALLY good read on my opponents rhythm (the Sim player).
If we could get some vid capture that’d be nice. It’ll be good to rewatch our own matches so we can improve. I was actually planning on getting a laptop for that reason but things always get in the way.

So hate this weather. Don’t wanna leave the house cuz of all the ice on the roads meaning no sessions. On another note, Yang is gonna be pretty sick from the way Mago explains him in the front page article. 1st hit of mantis slash being safe is all I really wanted for him to really keep. Welp anyone up for some online practice this week at least?

Good to hear that kalvin, i dont know anything about recording hd or streaming i just know how to record cassets lol. Good luck with that stuff kalvin sorry i cant help with that stuff.
Alright guys, I think I got it. Wasn’t too difficult to figure out. Here are a few samples. This is unedited. Be sure to change it so 720p and full screen it to see it in full detail.

I’m looking into video editing software right now, so I can do some other cool things like add music (guile theme anyone?), splice clips together, add effects, etc. Not really digging Windows Live Movie Maker that came with my computer. As is, I can burn these videos in this format onto DVD’s, and they should play in any bluray player. I can also convert these files into several other formats to be playable on PS3’s, XBOX 360’s, and most other devices. They are easily uploaded to youtube and most video sharing sites in the default H.264 format. Sound is captured in 5.1 surround. I think this Hauppage HD PVR is going to meet any of our demands.
Wires everywhere though.
Also, how you guys like my dumb combos? I finally turned off PPP and KKK buttons, and am in the process of learning some legit pianing techniques. Still sliding for the cr. fierce xx rh LL though.
Your vids look good! Nice combos the second one ive seen a lot nut not the first one. When i got my stick i tried not to use the ppp or the kkk buttons. Geting used to the stick but still need a lot of practice anyway good job man, and have you seen the new trailer gor ssf4ae it shows evil ryu and shin akuma. I was hoping for more third strike chars like necro, hugo, or alex but the makoto changes are all i need.
My Honda is ass btw. I just play Honda to do cr jab, hands, cr jab, hands FADC U2. Haha. But man Kalvin, vid capture looks sick. Some reason feels like you’ve tried to hit me with that combo before. Keep up the work though. I can see you making some really cool vid creations. Try checking out any of the combo video forums for video editing software stuff.
Hopefully this weather keeps getting better. It’d be nice to go to Walla Walla or have you guys come over for some sessions. And I’m in the process of getting another 360 (last one kept freezing). Not in time for Evo Online but at least I’ll have one ready for anything else.
Oh and the new SSF4 trailer is sick. Makes me more hyped to play Yang again. Not so hyped about Shin Akuma and Evil Ryu though. How much plasma can they really put in this game?
Thanks! I actually haven’t tried that combo in play. I only recently fleshed it out, and it’s really just a flashy combo. Does crap damage for 4 EX bars and revenge meter. That said, I am going to try to land it all the time now. I have a few variations of it too. I think a combo video is necessary now. 
Can’t wait to get some sessions going. Playing Walla walla sounds awesome!
