Yo kalvin i was watching the vids from the tourny and saw that the mvc3 grand final has the video running faster than the sound. Weird but all the other vids seemed fine. Nice work and thanks again for throwing this thing. It was fun, even though now all of youtube can see me get handled and tossed around like a hooker. Just kidding it was a blast. Yea and i almost forgot a new charecter for ae was released today. I wonder who this evil ryu is, i feel like ive seen him before.
Thanks for the tip Frankie. I’m looking into that right now. It recorded fine, the video runs at normal speed, so it had to happen somewhere during the uploading process. It might have something to do with the length of the video. It is by far the longest video I’ve tried to upload, at over 16 minutes, and over 1GB in size. I’m going to re-upload (2.5 hours, yeesh!) it and see if it doesn’t go correctly this time. After that I will get started on SSF4.
Sorry to all for being somewhat inattentive in my recording duties. Several times the match started while I was yakking away at someone and didn’t notice the match was starting, so I didn’t get the beginning of a few matches. One of the matches I missed the entire first round. 
I will try to improve my awareness at future recorded sessions so that it doesn’t happen again.

I’m pretty sure I got all the videos labeled correctly. I have to remember next time to label the video as soon as the match is over, so I don’t have to go back through them all and try to remember who was using which team. Luckily, all of you used at least one unique character in your team, so I went by that.

Videos are uploading. Over half way done with SSF4. I would be done already, but when I went to sleep last night, Firefox crashed on me and so there was a good 7 hours of uploading that didn’t happen. It went without a hitch while I was at work today, so I got a good chunk of it done.
I re-uploaded the finals of MvC3, but same thing as before. Video plays absurdly fast while audio plays normal speed. I’m going to break it down to 3 separate shorter videos and upload each one individually. That should take care of it hopefully. I didn’t want to do any editing on this stuff in Windows movie maker because it drops the quality of the video, but that is better than where it stands right now, which is unwatchable.

Frankie, I haven’t forgot about your dvd’s. I will burn them tomorrow. It’s looking like it will be 3 dvd’s for ssf4, and 2 for marvel. I will keep you updated on that.
Mike, about Evo…I have tomorrow off, so I will talk to you about that. Tj and I…well, we don’t mind each getting our own room and splitting everyone up between us, that way we have more comfortable room accommodations. Any help we can get footing the bill is appreciated, but to be honest, we are both generous and aren’t exactly lacking funds for this experience. So neither of us mind taking the brunt of the expense for rooming. If your friend doesn’t mind one or two people, me and TJ can each take two, or more if needed, then we can easily have rooms for 6 of us without it being crowded. And I would like to note that I am extremely comfortable sleeping on a couch, perhaps more so than a bed.

So thoughts on AE…
Yang is fun. Cr forward’s range his horrible compared to 3S but its alright since he has frame advantage on 1st slash. His FADC combos are weird links and his Seiei Enbu combo takes actual timing to do. Overall I think I’ll like playin my old 3S main again.
Yun is crazy. Saw Seattle player King play him all crazy. Geneijin not that bad to get hit with if you have decent stamina. EX lunge punch being safe on block is ridiculous. Also he divekicks funny compared to Rufus so it feels harder to antiair him.
Evil Ryu is…dunno how to put it. Hes like a weird hybrid of Ryu and Akuma. Good damage, good pokes here and there, crappy stamina. Need to play him more
Makoto…so good. So much damage. So much stun. Dash is HELLA fast. Mickey D went on like 22 win streak with her haha.
So overall the game is really fun. A lot faster playstyle it seems. Gotta try to go up to play it again.

Mak is so good. I saw David getting antiaired with her DP move for trying to cross her up. Pretty much lost like 20% life because of it. And Evil Ryu is weird. Its like…you play him like regular Ryu but at the same time he has such bad health and his EX fireballs don’t knock down so you can’t do what regular Ryu does as good. I really don’t understand how you apply pressure with him. He looks pretty cool though.

BTW, I ordered the Evo monitor (ASUS VH236H). It should be in by Thursday too. Depending on the weather, might do that outdoor session again. And its alright that you didn’t make it Kalvin. It was pretty last minute and actually I don’t think it would’ve been comfortable for you if you went either. We could barely fit TJ and Raul together at the back seats lol.

Sorry i coulnt make it . Had to work over time. It sucks but its ok i guess since i need more money. Speaking of more money might have to work more now and maybe only have weekends off and i cant really ask for time off since i have to save my sick days for december.
