I can confirm unblockable works on balrog. The timing is frame perfect or close to it, but it certainly works.
Testing gouken.
In that case we might as well use unblockable j.hk as it does more damage and the timing is similar.
fp is unblockable against rufus. Completely unblockable, but duckable
I cant get rh, fp, or mk to work against gouken.
My friend says hp ball x super works still
rh is not unblockable against balrog. Wierdest looking block u ever saw, but looks blockable.
super works after fp ball but you lose a hit
Been playing with balrog unblockable. If I mash dash after throw, balrog is ALWAYS able to block mk as a crossup. If i hesitate just the slightest bit, like how i felt the timeing was in AE, then it surely is an unblockable.
Wow, same thing with jump rh. RH is an unblockable vs balrog too, but again the hop must have the slightest hesitation.
EX Ball FADC elec works!!! I was able to conect all version EXCEPT HP elec
j.HK, cr.MK, st.LP xx EX ball FADC EX elec -> 378 dmg
I’ve only been able to get strong electricity to combo, does 366
It’s character specific if it crosses up or not. Against some characters you can do the crouch/not crouch trick to make yourself not crossup/crossup. Frame advantage feels like +10, second hit of cl.mk hits, quicker stuff whiffs, but cl.hk meaty doesn’t feel like it’s enough to combo off of.
Not enough charge time.
Hp elec works, just mash that shit out
I’m guessing it is character specific, the characters fall at different rates in float state.
Slide should also work on the characters that hp elec works on.
Edit: Against taller crouching characters, overhead -> hk/ex upball connects. Does 210/300

I was experimenting a bit in training mode, I was getting EX Ball -> FADC -> hp elec connecting. any poke seems to make the opponent come out of the juggle state and end the combo. Is it possible to FADC straight into ultra 1? Have you discovered anything else?
Also, Generally, if I throw out a lp xx hp elec and the opponent throws out a throw in the startup frames of the lp who wins?

Yeah characters for sure fall at different rates, hp elec is stupidly easy on boxer, I got it first try after trying about 10 on blanka.
Also possible to connect slide on boxer, j.hk, cr.mk, st.lp xx ex ball FADC slide does 348, you have to time the slide though, you can’t mash it out.

if a normal and a throw connect on the same frame, throw wins.
tried a bunch of hop mixups after the ex ball.
After ex ball fadc: lp or mk, holding any direction, down, back, forward, neutral, whatever, always crosses up. I dont think this is a trick worth bothering with.
Could be character specific, but you are really close to them after the ex ball, so i kinda doubt it.
thanks ves, also what’s the input/timing for canceling lp xx hp elec into hp elec again? just mash it out?
Josh try it on Ryu or Ken, you can choose what side you are on by crouching/not crouching. It’s character specific for sure. You tend to stay same side in corner though.
I don’t know exact numbers in frames.
Unblockable update: Delaying my jump seems to work better for me than delaying my dash as I keep walking forward when trying to dash and messing it up. I’ve got the unblockable like 3/10 times on Boxer, so still doable, just takes more work.

first blocked lp rekka can be punished with all upballs as reversal. though, very close blocked rekka cannot be punshed as the ball doesn’t come out.

Hop shinanigans after ex ball are indeed really tricky looking in the corner, but as ves said its a fake crossup and seems to always keep blanka outside of the corner. Good for a one trick pony, but I would honostly except them to mash ex get out of jail free card/uppercut,. etc. Good to know.
I really suck though, bc overhead ultra is kinda hard. Especially after a low rh, i dont seem to get enough charge time, its really really tight.
And its impossible to do level 2/3 focus into overhead. Overhead is to slow and they get air popped.
Josh, level 3, overhead, ultra is possible, try plinking the overhead.
