Unfortunately, I wont have time to directly do a lot of major testing, as I my dissertation is due by the end of december.

That vid is kind of silly. For people who make a living off the game they don’t seem to know a lot about it.
thing is… whether or not they really don’t know the game much or they actually downplay their knowledge a bit… i think the point for them is to attract the mass… and i think it’s more fun to watch people that is easier to relate to rather than people who are simply elite experts at the game… if i wanna watch someone who’s really good at the game I might as well watch Daigo… or a player that uses my character…
if you ask me it’s all for the show… for the same reason Crosscounter asia don’t find the two best players in Singapore… they choose one guy who’s really good the other guy who’s got more entertaining personality.

love the ex upball, even if they tech it seems like you’re in advantage
hp/ex ball knocking down into combo I didn’t test fully because kept getting challenged and I kept doing what I used to do and that isn’t dash cancelling forward so dunno what connects yet but seems definitely close enough for slide without a problem
haven’t really seen ex ball knocking down yet because of habit not doing it in combo and keep forgetting it
rockcrusher seems to give good frames and close even on crouching opponent definitely much closer but I messed up the lp xx electricity but since i only got to try it once can’t verify
played against fei long and it’s freaking much easier IMO especially when I feel like I can punish with reversal ex upball against first hit rekka someone need to verify this because if I’m right fei matchup is gonna be much more even
ex upball blocked is what you expect if they can react to it, you’re gonna eat a full combo, but being a blanka player that’s nothing new
oh yeah finally unblockables are still there, they did take away some I don’t think jump mk works on boxer anymore but against guile viper it’s definitely free still abusing the crap out of it so don’t worry guys about losing all unblockables we might actually find more

I gotta retest viper again because I just remember my first half of the session I was playing regular ae then a few of us went to another arcade played and didn’t even realize it was 2012 (was playing rose at the beginning) until one of us pointed out he saw 2012 then we all kinda was shocked and that’s when I changed to playing back to blanka
Anyways gonna go get a few games with CPU to maybe on beginners mode to find out about hp/exball stuff, get back to you guys soon

Ok more updates got one full game against CPU before having to leave
regular rockcrusher has no change or so it seems
charged rockcrusher seems +5 crouch or standing linking to lp xx ball is extremely easy I even seen hp ball knocking down
hp ball fadc seem to suck nothing connects not even fa hits so it’s nearly a nerf
ex ball fadc took me a few tries before finally landing stuff gotta cancel really early or you’ll be too slow
what hits so far and obviously the list will be longer
fa lvl1 haven’t tried to see if possible lvl2 works yet didn’t have that many chance to try

Hmm having to do mp ball to super makes it harder to stun after landing a mixup after super hits.
Also it’s going to change the characters ball into super works on at the end of bnbs. sigh
I wanna add after you land regular lvl 1 fa hit after ex ball although the opponent is fairly high up and close to you I can’t manage to get anything to connect afterwards…
I wonder if there will be a way to land ultra 2 though…
