He landed on different sides when he did it too.
So at minimum it’s a true 50/50

I see Nishikin doing the unblockable on Yoshiwo, so still unbloclable ?
Keep me in the loop pls
Will do.
Anyways Blanka looks very solid.
on yesterdays stream from iplaywinner… a blanka did an ex upball against cody and it looked like a hard kd
check 50min15sec
The cody just didnt quick recover. Previous page has vids of upball properties, and it is possible to quick recover.
Also, reding the notes, codies overheard is similar to blankas in AE, in that it has different properties depending on whether or not the opponent is standing or ducking, where if they are ducking, cody is -1 after overhead, and if they are standing, cody is like +3 or +4 after overhead.
I’m guessing its the same fer blanka, though i have no way to test yet.
Cant wait to see everyones opinion of the new Blanka after about a month or two of playing 2012.
Also would like to know what Taku thinks even now
There is no doubt AE 2012. Blanka will be better than the current one. I can’t wait until I can do ball combos against the whole cast because H ball is hard knockdown.

modded version doesnt allow you to combo fp ball into super though haha. Dunno how 2012 will interact with that.
I’m positive you will still be able to combo it into Super, because you are cancelling the move into the Super as soon as it makes contact, I think.
as for the super not canceling after a hardball… i was telling you guys this may happen… but we will know for sure when the real deal hits
lp and mp balls you will, I’m not convinced about hp. As soon as hp ball hits it causes a 0 juggle KD. Only ex ball allows follow up hits. In the mod, even lp super whiffs.
What are these unblockable setups you guys are talking about? Can someone please fill me in?
There’s a stickied thread about them.
After 2012 drops on console would people be willing to help me chart a bunch of b.throw stuff?
I have SCR a few days after the drop and I’m not sure I’ll have time to test b.throw j.hp/hk/mk/lp both midscreen and in the corner in such a short amount of time. thats 312 setups to test vs. f.block, b.block, neutral jump, and possibly reversals.
I will do as much as I can find time for
I don’t wanna promise anything but i’ll give it a try as well…
would be nice if you can keep a small list of characters you’ve done… so others can take a look at that list and try to do the rest that haven’t been done.
some question…
I know some of the timings are tighter than others… but how can you be sure the timing we’re doing it is the same as the timing you’re doing it? also… if i do the “tightest” timing lets say the timing that works for boxer… does the same timing work for someone a bit looser like Guile?
because i’m thinking maybe the easiest way to go through the list is… to have Blanka record with one of the setups at the ‘tightest’ timing and just go through the entire cast or most of the cast… it’ll be easier done this way compared to if everybody is testing it by the character

The idea would be a spreadsheet that people could edit and see the progress already made.
Google documents?
Dunno if there’s a way to make it public or maybe we can do private for now until it’s complete?
