I love how the buff yun just got today was increasing speed of grab from 11 to 10 frames. woo hoo. Hey, so y does fei long, with the slow walkspeed, have the slow ass grab at 14 for regular and 10 for ex., whereas yun gets this pretty fast grab, even after the nerf?

Haha, I’m older than Josh. I like Blanka because I played him in SFII alongside Ryu and Guile. Also played him a bit in A3, even though his hitboxes in that game are completely ass.

I wonder how if charged Rockcrusher will take longer to execute than what it does it now. If so, there could be more opportunities for meaty setups because for most meaty RC setups now you have to delay it a bit else it whiffs. Meaty RC is already comboable into U1 (1f link), so a meaty charged RC should make it a 3f link.

Blanka’s sprite in A3 is nice, i like him too but i don’t know if he’s good or what, i never really played this game.

If overhead rockcrusher is really going to be +5 on crouchers, it’s going to be +8 on a perfect meaty. 5 frame link to ultra, haha.

I’m not sure Capcom is gonna be so generous with that move though. I noticed that with some moves the frame advantage only applies to the first active frame (of the last part of the move that connects), so it could turn out that meaty RC actually gives less frame advantage. I hope not.

I want meaty counterhit to be +11 so I can link slide for no good reason.

In this past discussion you guys were forgetting the (hopefully) advantages of EX upball on a combo leading to a knockdown. Especially in those situations where hori ball wouldn’t get you KD.

Depending on the frame data / push back and what people can discover in the training room, this could lead to a lot of good setups, perhaps even new unblockables.

It could be a real alternative to finishing your combos with electricity.

Back to more possible changes. Really want to see some better normal adjustments. Another normal that i really want improved is cs.MK. In how it hits and also it’s frames. I find this to be an excellent normal in close fights. something like +2 on block and +4 on hit would be awesome!

Cr. HP : -4 on recovery so -6 on block & 0 on hit !

Looking at the fame data, there’s not much they can do to improve the +hit stuff without making it too easy to ultra off everything… well one frame Ultra links.
Even as much as I’d like cs.mk to be +4, just to make that annoying fs.lp link to ball / elec easier. Same with cr.lk turning +4… too easy Ultra link.
The +4s that are there are put there for a reason and haven’t changed since vanilla.

The only thing they can do is increase the recovery of slow recovering normals… like beast slide from Vanilla upwards, etc… pity.

Even meter gain/stun figures look about right, same since from Vanilla.
Maybe more meter gain on elec? haha! Nahh…

I just want moar combos with Blanka.

I’m 32 and never really liked Blanka since SF2.

SFIV was the first game that I used him for real.

Now I miss his incredible and annoying throw range from SSF2T (not to mention the fact that it was untechable).
