How exactly foes the turn based component work? Isn’t it basically just RTP (Real Time w/ Pause)?
When you enter the tactical mode, a meter is seen visible on the top of the screen. All actions, including moving around, deplete this meter at different costs. You plan out your moves. When you activate the moves, time goes on (so sometimes enemy placement isn’t so perfect) but you will be moving at an accelerated rate. After that, you can’t do most actions again besides movement and your blink-like ability until the meter charges.
Basically, if you don’t enter tactical mode, then you can do as many offensive moves as you want, but it leaves you very much open to attack, whereas with the tactical mode, you get to move around and dodge attacks perfectly.
use jaunt as a modifier, its the best upgrade
I love the little messages you get when you take overkilling too far.
Edit: And I beat it. That ending. -_-
There were issues on launch. But like, 5 hours later it was all basically resolved (maybe less than that).
They had a 50 MB patch to fix up the day one bugs everyone was complaining about, no big.
So many enemies can chase you down when your Turn is on cooldown though, having that Jaunt to escape more quickly is just so useful.
