The toyline for this movie has a promotion going on right now. Not really worth clicking unless you want to see Cullen and Welker being with their voice changer mask. However, this pretty much confirms that Frank Welker will be the voice of Megatron.

I tweeted, emailed, i pulled strings from friends who work in the industry, to make sure hot rod sounded right…and this is what I get. I could have done the voice work.

At least with some of the other characters the voices made sense. You have a reference point for that character in particular. Bumblebee mute at this point is a really tired gag.
Honestly, you would hope that this franchise would pull a Fast and Furious and know what it is. For the most part, I have enjoyed the 5th movie and up of that franchise.
AOE suffered from trying to be more than one movie at a time. Honestly, they could have ended it with Optimus getting captured by Lockdown and sent off to the creators and called it a day. All the pieces were there but lacked focus and a decent editor.
If Bay hasn’t gotten it together on this next film, time to wrap that shit up B.

I will have to say that this trailer feels like what I think the movie will be. Stupid humor with a crazy plot, and EXPLOSIONS. I want this franchise to put a Fast and Furious, but Bay’s track record isn’t saying much.
Just like Fox’s Fantastic Four movies, I will not pay to watch them, or even obtain them illegally.
If the movie doesn’t make money, they’ll kill the franchise for a reboot in a few years time.

There were opportunities for this to be legit. It’s just that the movie is so unfocused and has plot strings everywhere.
The CG does look good. However, the way its used is so underwhelming in terms of robot action it’s terrible.
All the other movies had at least one “hype” moment in the film. This one had glimmers, but nothing that I would just search on Youtube for or pop in the bluray to watch.
I left the theater exhausted.

Last movie I saw was the third one. Devastator being a giant vacuum cleaners with testicles and those jive talking autobots was the final straw for me.
