I’m no novice. =P I used to own Sky Garry, ya know… lotta people in the fandom don’t even know who that is. :wgrin: I also used to post on A.T.T. semi-regularly between 97-01… wonder if it’s still around…
I know what it is, it’s another micromaster base former.
it’s actually kinda cool, but the only one of those I want is Star Convoy.
That’s actually the best design I’ve seen out of this rotten project, just because of his face. How fucking hard is it to make a head that doesn’t look like a crystallized anus?
I have a spare Sky Garry knockoff that I’m tempted to repaint in brown and call Ground Chuck.
Oh, shit.
Whip It? What the hell?
Also, that is one expensive, enormous Bumblebee.
Maybe they think its the 1985 movie instead of the 2007 one
dude Whip It is a fuckin classic
Too true, but the toy sucks balls. In fact, any merchandise that spring from this movies gullet = auto suck.
Have I mentioned I’m not going to see this movie?
At least it isn’t “Do you really wanna hurt me?”
Okay, you might not love the aesthetic of the robot design, but can you really say the toy sucks balls when it isn’t even out yet? Look at what it does.
That’s what they all say :wgrin:
Anyhoo. some tidbits about the vid game based on the movie from toyfair:
- Game is done in a GTA like style. Large environments, 100% destructible, can transform limitless times

- DS will offer cooperative play, or competitive play over wireless connection
- PSP will offer up to 4 player play
- Consoles are single-player
- beautiful graphics
- They are going to work in as many G1 unlockable content as they possibly can
- Working with Flint Dille(writer/StoryEditor of G1) for the G1 content, even got the models from Dreamworks!
- The Marvel Ultimate Alliance team is working on the CGI cutscenes
- When asked about VAs, told they couldnt’ comment, but that we could speculate that the movie VAs would reprise their roles in the game
- Can play as ALL Movie characters and even non-movie characters that are movie-based
- Hasbro is working with them to try to make toys of these non-movie but movie-based characters!
- All Tranformers in the game will have individual melee and weapons attacks
- Can choose to be Autobots OR Decepticons, and the side you choose determines the game’s endings.

i was hoping there would be some more classics. knowing hasbro, they’ll just dump the line
Um, what?
y’know, like the alternators and commemorative series which are on the way out. or am i wrong?
Are you seriously comparing a four year old reissue series with very low sales in general, and the over two years old Alternators line, which is not only pretty much abandoned in Japan but has seen a sharp decline in sales domestically as well, with a few months old new main line enjoying good sales volume?
