I tried, it said it wasn’t in stock, once I got to the end of the checkout process.
goddammit.

http://www.ultimatetoys.com.my/New/Transformers/MasterpieceStarscream/MasterpieceStarscream.htm I came across that, and forgive my probable lateness, but I’ve never seen this before… it’s saying it’s the masterpiece Starscream, but the pictures look like it’s the smaller masterpiece-like version, that Optimus/Convoy had of him. (small Optimus with trailer and Roller).
I can’t read what it says, but that Starscream looks like Robot Masters Starscream.
it DEF. ain’t the MP Screamer, that thing has much better proportions, a different paint deco, and some leg skirt armor.
I’m hoping the BotCon exc. this year doesn’t have Thundercracker/Dirge/Thrust/Sunstorm in it.
Of course… if I manage to actually go… I hope it does.
;x
…and then I can berate Hasbro for not making Classics Cosmos.
I need to finish my Binaltech collection. I’m amazed that I haven’t gotten Lambor(Sideswipe) yet. And that one looks awesome to me, for some reason. Hell, even Wheeljack. Man, I’m getting lazy with my hobby.
Khaotika, early reports is that the Botcon exclusive is Classics Themed, so my early guess would be:
Repainted Megatron (Galvatron) Repainted Ramjet (Dirge or Thrust) Repainted Starscream (Thundercracker)
yeah, I hate the thought too…but what can we do?
I’m giving serious thought into buying up some extras, and just repainting 'em…I don’t like Classics Megatron, but he might look cool in Galvatron colors…
small pics of the upcoming merchandise blitz and vid game…
intriguing.
Preordered a Soundwave on BBTS.com
should have it in a couple weeks.
but at least I don’t have to worry anymore.
Thanks to everybody who went out on a limb and was keeping an eye out for me.
No problem.
Now, in typical fashion, now that you have one on the way, the sucker’ll be at the Toy’s R Us here soon.

good idea thats what i did for my soundwave and for ther reissue of megtron . i rather shell out extra money get soundwave then to wait for toy R us get there shipnment.
Sorry you had to overpay. ;/
Me, I’m still debating on picking him up, since I already have the original, a boxed original, original Soundblaster, Soundwave Jr… I loves me a good Soundwave. obsess
well, I’d rather overpay than try to catch TRU.com when they have it in stock, only to have them cancel on me AGAIN.
and I’ve been calling my local TRU every day for two weeks, they seriously got tired of me calling.
that being the case, I’d rather pay the extra twenty bucks, and have the damn thing, it’s worth that in the hassle it saves me.
It’s a good thing I’m seeing these designs way before the movie comes out, so that I have plenty of time to accept these designs by the time I see the film. I mean, I know that the movie is a realistic interpretation and all, but every diehard fan loves G1 to death…
I opened up my Blaster and modded him so that his cassette door actually pops open, using SMB’s advice. I’ve wanted him to be able to hold tapes ever since I first got him when he first came out…
how did you mod it?
For some weird reason, the EJECT button has a little tab extention located on the inside that rests onto the middle OFF button. So whenever you try to press the EJECT button, it doesn’t press down all the way. That little tab prevents it from moving down all the way, as it is resting on the middle button. So I unscrewed the screws in the back of Blaster, to apart the buttons and parts, and took off that little tab extension with a pair of tiny pliers.
You have to be very careful not to lose anything, as there are tiny parts and springs that all go together to make the buttons operate and such. There were a couple times when I didn’t put everything back in the right spots, because I didn’t remember where they were supposed to go. But I eventually figured it out. I’m used to taking apart stuff like this.
If you want to mod your Blaster, but aren’t feeling very confident about it, let me know, and I can take pictures of the process or something.
well, I don’t have a Blaster yet, but I know that some were released with non-opening doors, and others weren’t.
I just wanted to know what to do, in case I got one that didn’t open, when I finally got around to getting mine (dunno when, but he’s a high-priority character for me, since I’m a big fan of the movie)
I’d look for him locally for you (well as local as an hour’s drive can be), but I don’t have any business to take care of in my TRU’s area until about the 28th.
I can, however, see if I can find you a cheap reissue Blaster somewhere on the net…
cool.
remember in Japan, his name is Broadcast, so make sure you search under both names.
