I was both, but more Joe than TF.
I still give the joes a little bit o’ love, but my focus at the moment is TFs, but it’s all cyclical, I’ll get bored with TFs and switch to something else.
I hope it’s not soon though (I was riding a pirate kick for a while), I have a LOT of TFs I want.
of course I always come back, and I never fall out of love with the things I like…when I’m not actively collecting, I still look for deals, and will jump when I get the chance, because I’ll regret it if I don’t.
Those 25th Joe figures like nice to add next to my TF Masterpieces and Binaltechs

I’ve been bitten by the Classics bug. This is getting fuckin’ expensive. I picked up Grimmy, Cliffy, and Rammy today.
Grimmy is great, and I want Ramjet, but Cliffjumper can go fuck himself.
as for Soundwave, if I had the fuckin’ scratch, I’d just pay the $60 they want for him on ebay and be done with it.

it’s that he’s a simple repaint of Bumblebee. Classics is supposed to be a G1 Homage, there were differences between Cliffjumper and Bumblebee that transcended color schemes.

Im pissed about the figure too, but its Hasbro, they’ll never change as far as repaints are concerned.
Look at the reissue Soundwave, they used the G1 mold instead of making a new figure like originally planned. (Although this is one of those rare times where Hasbro’s lazyness actually paid off for us)
