Commercial for CW Defensor and Menasor. Reminds me of the old G2 stuff.
So I bought the PC-01 and 02 Set. I skipped out on 3 and 4 because they seemed unnecessary. However, I saw someone in ne of my FB groups state that the set for PC04 (Menasor) is a permanent attachment to the figure. Itās not something that snaps on in and out of the modes. If you have CW Menasor, I definitely suggest looking at this.

That Menasor looks awesome! Good buy.
To any that have 3P figures. What do you think of the face sculpts on most of these figures? I noticed that very few companies are do them really well. They resemble the character, but donāt have itās āsoulā.

Had another issue with the Leonidas figure. One of the pegs that the sword sheaths attach to on the rear panel snapped. This thing looks good, but I swear some of the tolerances of the pegs are faaaaaaaaaaaar too tight.

Things like this are why I canāt get on the 3P train. They look fantabulous, but the tolerance levels in comparison to Hasbro arenāt exactly there.

who looks just sick to me. I already think the cassettes in regular colors are amazing.
Iām down to order any G1-related MPs, but ā I thought Road Rage was a new non-G1 design so didnāt bother. Thundercracker looks sweet, but ā¦ $200? I have to go check how my old MP Thundercracker looks. Please tell us how much better it looks, because itās awfully tempting but ā¦ seemed excessive. 
Iām debating that botcon trip myself. Thatās an 8.5 hour trip thoughā¦then hotel fees. Iām sure if I would not like to make it a day trip.
YOTG Soundwave is pretty sweet, just be careful transforming the bird cassettes. You could quite easily snap the small wings on top of the vents during transformation. Considering you get the whole Season G1 crew ,sans Ratbat, its a pretty good deal. These Chinese New Year figures are done fairly well. If it werenāt for the gold chrome on YOTH Prime, I would have bought it on sight. The deeper reds and blues with the black plastic accents just made it look more aggressive.
With Road Rage, I personally think the colors look better on her than Tracks. The unfortunate thing about G1 Transformers, especially Season 1 Characters, are the obvious repaints. Road Rage was a collector figure that came out in the early 2000s. The figure has no significance to G1 at all, but I really like the colors so that tipped it over for me. Itās strange that Road Rage is $5 less than Tracks, but Iāll take it.
Yeah, Thundercracker . . . . . . . . I donāt want to pay that, believe me. However, my collection goal is to get all of the G1 Season 1 Characters in the MP scale with the most accurate show presence. I looked at my collection and wondered what I was trying to do. Now I have a stopping point. Apollyon will serve as my MP Megatron stand-in (unless the Maketoys Despotron just blows it out of the water). The only other Decepticon I need is Starscream.

Itās about 8hrs for me as well. Depending on the cost of flying will determine what I do. This is one of the few times BotCon is on the east coast, so I am going to take advantage of it. Not sure if you have ever been to a Fan Convention but itās a worthwhile experience, at least once. I went to Charticon in 2013 and had a blast. It was definitely overload but was awesome. I am going to TF Con Charlotte this year as the same group that put on Charticon is helping out the TFCon crew. Everyone in the fan community said that Charticon was one of the better fan conventions ever done (and it was their first time at it).
Thew did a review on the Tank Megatrons all the way up thru CW Megs. Worth the watch. I actually had CW Megs for about 2 days and I just couldnāt see the sense in keeping it.
