That silhouette has me cautious, but I am willing to double down on it. My question is, if Hot Rod is coming, are we going to see a Galvatron? I hope so as 3P has some pretty solid options.
I only have mp 10 and I would sell my kidney for a MP Galvatron.
Ive never bought a 3p figure, but I am seriously considering the Dx Tyrant or Abbadon ones.
I hope Hasbro makes a good Classics/Gen Galvatron. The crappy tank version is at least 7 years old now.
Got the Masterpiece Year of the Goat Soundwave. Probably my second favorite Soundwave after the real Soundwave - ahead of SoundBlaster. The plastic all around doesn’t seem nearly as solid. They made one of his battery weapons clear and one brown, which is weird. The cassettes generally don’t seem as interesting clear - in part because it’s hard to tell which is which.
I think he looks great, but the cassettes are about as uncompelling as Ratbat.
There are things that I like about DX-9’s version, but something about it just seems off. The face sculpt and the hands come to mind definitely. That and the purple is just the molded plastic.

To be honest, I am not as impressed. The chest just looks like someone strapped a cardboard box on him without even trying to contour it. Outside of that, it looks pretty solid.
Love the Shockwave, but Hot Rod continues to be a crappy crappy bot.
All they had to do honestly was take the chest transformation from the original and it would have fixed this. It’s like they are saying every other modern reveal must suck

MP-09 looks pretty solid, it’s just poorly constructed and has a transformation that is not fun. It is the only MP that I transform on a 6 month cycle.
They got the figure right the first try as in looks.
This is a step back IMO.
I never sold my first release Quakewave, not even during the time that it was in high demand. I like the figure that much. I may get the MP mold if Takara ever does a gray “Shackwave” release, which I’m certain will happen.
If this Rodimus doesn’t fall apart from just looking at it, it will already be a success.
The horror stories I’ve heard about MP 9 are legion lol.

It’s definitely had some issues. I have the Hasbro version. I saw a comparison shot between the two. That gray plastic used instead of the white hurts me when I see it. I am almost tempted to buy one of the loose ones that are creeping on eBay.
