That voyager Optimus is borderline obscene looking. It’s atrocious, the one-step changers look better.
Leader Megs looks…alright I guess. As a fan of old robot toys I can let the simplicity of design and lack of details slide to an extent, at least it looks alright. “Armada” Megs is gross, they add some extra stuff but they couldn’t remold the chest portion to match the original? Armada Megatron was one of the real highlights of that line way back when with all the gimmicks, intimidating tank mode and intimidating robot mode. It wasn’t perfect but then again very few from that line were. It just seems like a waste to me.
Arcee looks alright, Chromia looks fantastic, Brainstorm looks great. Legends class continues it’s winning streak with every release. It’s almost like they decided to let the interns do the designs for some of the current larger scale figures.
It’s not bad, but not great either. Megs would look better if the legs were sculpted better. There is no saving that Prime tho. My GF saw it and gave the WTF stare.
Not really. Chromia seems like an awesome release. I have a strange feeling that it will be retooled into the Technobot Afterburner

On a side note, FoC Metroplex’s possible height has been niggling at me to find it out since the moment I saw him(he’s definitely square-cube law compliant[won’t collapse under his own weight with RL physics], look at the size of his legs, he’s fine weight support wise lol).
Eyeballing it here, If FoC Prime is roughly 30 feet tall, that would 'Plex at the very least at 10,000 feet tall, and my upper limit guess is… 30,000+, taller than Mt. Everest(29,029 feet). He DOES look that huge, though.

FWIW it seems like the US version of Prowl at least will be unchanged from the Takara release. Not a bad choice, but … that means I’m probably skipping it.

Optimus being imagined as like John Wayne as mentioned in that article puts a lot into perspective,
now that I think about it… Mr. Cullen’s voice just being right for OP(the best part? He’s actually like that IRL, too, he’s the cool dad figure you’d imagine he’d be and THEN SOME!) is what I think seals it.
