He did the same thing with the Superion add-on. But I’m wondering if the profit is even worth it.
It doesn’t even come into my head as a serious thought. I guess you do what you have to do. I just find the prospect of buying stuff just to sell it later a pain.
Same here. When I’m buying this stuff it’s for me to enjoy, whether I’m collecting it and it remains in the box, or if I’m taking it out to “play” with it. Regardless, it’s going out on display. My dilemma is whether I should keep it in the box or risk it and take it out.
I’m so on the fence on what to do with MP Grimlock. I’ve decided I’m going to open up LC SS.
How long has everyone here been seriously collecting Transformers? I’ve only recently (i.e. this summer) started getting into purchasing them after a friend of mine had a bunch of his out on display at his place. I was in total awe and ended up going through his toys when I originally came over to play HD gaemz and get twisted.
Also noticed that Banzaitron ROTF Bludgeon are the same mold. WTF. I’d rather have Banzaitron over Bludgeon.

Collecting TF’s is a really expensive hobby, especially if you’re a G1 enthusiast. I have a tiny collection of G1, MP and Alternators and I lobe what I have. I just don’t have room for more. Like I really, really want MP Grimlock but literally have no place on my shelves for him unless I decide to box up a whole level to make room just for him, and I’ve already done that to make room for the new Halo 3 and Halo Reach stuff that’s out.

I just forked over the cash for Rock Band 3 and snagged him. I would honestly have to say, that Grimlock is by far the most accurate MP figure in the set. They literally took the Show/ Comic model and recreated it. The little things such as the eye color change in Robot and beast mode or the way the Autobot symbol for his chest appears are just really simple but awesome touches.
Funniest moment when I got him last night. I just transformed him and set him on the counter with his crown on, my brother walks up and we have the following dialogue:
Bro: That’s tight, but why does he have a crown
Me: CAUSE HIM GRIMLOCK KING!!!

The price for TRU’s MP Grimlock is anything but retarded, especially when you compare it to both Japanese versions.
^^^ Man, with Grimlock at 69.99, I just had to. The JP releases are 149.99 and for “King Grimlock” is 249.99. So that’s relatively cheap. America is getting the better end of the stick with these releases. Let’s hope for Targetmaster Hot Rod!

I guarantee that if the Drift series does anything, Hasbro is for sure going to make a Deadlock repaint/ retool. All they got to do is honestly use Blurr’s weapon loadout and color him as if it was Gigatron from RID.
yeah I have been on the lookout for Mindwipe with no luck. Still no sign of Bludgeon.
Got Last Stand of the Wreckers TPB today. I loved it! Overlord was a fucking monster! I am not keen on my IDW continuity though so some of the stuff they mentioned went over my head.
I have a loose/mint/complete Bludgeon for sale. There are also plenty of Mindwipes in my area.
