broke down and got leader Starscream and itās pretty much amazing. I like it more than Grimlock and certainly more than Piranacon (since we are talking more high end collectors stuff). Its just way too cool. It must be pretty popular, Iāve only seen a handful of them while Battle Ops Bumblebee hogs all the damn shelf space.
been waiting on a price drop for him for awhile now. just donāt wanna pay 45+tax for himā¦which will likely make him over $50. I see him for anything under $40 and heās mine 
also wanna get banzaitron if I see him again. color scheme is actually pretty nice on him, and I like the bludgeon rotf mold.

Got my FP Swindle and Blast-Off on the same day as my ROTF Bruticus. How fitting! I havenāt combined them all yet. Instead, I was messing around with Swindle and Blast-Off. Theyāre so cool. Iām amazed at FPās understanding of the engineering that goes into transforming action figures. You can tell they did their research. Iām way more impressed with this than their Springer, and I thought the latter was amazing. It might be that Iāve always had a soft spot for combiners. Anyway, theyāre totally worth it. My only gripe is that some of the parts donāt lock into place, specifically the backpack on Swindle. I also wish they were made out of sturdier plastic, but those are my only concerns for now.

Unless you live in Canada and thereās a Zellers nearby, youāre SOL. Your best bets are eBay or buying directly from someone thatās already got a set for sale. Be advised that it wonāt be cheap. Expect to spend at least $50.

Yea, people are really trying to cash in on the current value of the Bruticus set. And thatās all thanks to FP. They were in saturation last year when no one cared. I remember them going on clearance at Target. And then the demand just skyrocketed because of the Superion add-on, followed by the Swindle/Blast-Off sets. Most of the offers I got were closer to the $80-100 range. I even had people trying to sell me Onslaught, Vortex, and Brawl alone for $50. Fuck that.
If anyone is interested, Iām looking to sell the tan chopper and brown tank (Faux Swindle and Faux Blast-Off).
afaik, he was $29.99 retail (same as superion) before targets started clearancing.

a smart move atm would be just to buy the xfire sets, and wait for someone to just get sick of nobody biting on the gouged pricesā¦then try to snag one close to or around retail.
once these xfire sets are gone, thereās gonna be gouging on them too because the set is so nice. Iād just get whats available atm and wait on the right price for the rotf bruticus set.

It pisses me off that as a kid I had soooo many of these Transformers and that my mom ended up selling all of them (along with my Dino-Riders and M.A.S.K. toys) at a yard sale.
I had such fond memories of Trypticon (got that bad boy for Christmas), Metroplex, Blaster, Soundwave, the Dinobots, Predaking, Jetfire, Astrotrain, Perceptor, Rodimus Prime, Sky Lynx, Ultra Magnus, Inferno, and Ratchet among others.
Funny enough though I never had Optimus Prime, Megatron, the Constructicons, Bumblebee, Jazz, Blitzwing, or Starscream.
