The breakdancing bit on the junk planet gets me every time.

Damn so theyāre re-releasing my boy Vector eh? Hell, thatās an interesting color schemeā¦better than either of the Cybertron versions imo. Not the Takara though. :smokin:
Hey, I need a favor. If you have myspace check out http://www.myspace.com/vza and check out my TFs for sale album. I have no idea what I should be asking for these guys and I want a solid idea before I take it back to TFans. Iāll make the deductions according to whatever dings and dents may be on some of the boxes.
I just got Encore Metroplex in the mail today.
ā¦its pissing me off.
the flap on his left leg just wont stay attached to the little peg in robot mode and it pops itself out after a second. when I pay a grand total of $95 for a toy I expect all that shit to perfectly lock in place.
anybody else get it/have the same trouble?
Apply superglue to the peg and keep the flap on it for a few seconds. Then take the flap off before it fully adheres. This will āmeltā the plastic a little, but should allow the flap to stay in place whenever you transform him into robot mode.
Then again, it is a $95 toy. It shouldnāt have quality issues. But that didnāt stop Olivescream from having brittle plastic or that rust-like residue on MP Megatronās legs.
Ive been wanting to try that but again, its $95 and Id hate to do that if the option to just return it and get another one is availiable to me
Iāll let you know in a week or two.
Mine is paid for with BBTS, but Iām waiting to ship until City Commander set is available.
Spoiler warnings next time plz.
Since this is the Transformers threadā¦
Any have recommendations on what Transformers comics to read?
My bad.
I really like the new āAll Hail Megatronā series but itās moving a tad slow for my taste. Otherwise, IDW is doing a really good job on the license. I havenāt read too much of their stuff but from what I have seen, itās already better than what Dreamwave was accomplishing, and itās leagues ahead of the Marvel era garbage.
I tested out the superglue thing on a cheaper figure with loose joints, worked pretty well for a first time. I did the same to Metroplex and his leg flaps fit nice and snug now. put on the decals and the little pieces and it is pretty badass.
is Metro bigger than Omega? I dont think Ive seen any size comparisons.
I didnāt think youād go through with it considering the amount of money you put out toward it. How is Metroplex other than the leg flap issue?
I think he and OS are about the same height. I could be wrong though.
If I remember correctly, Metroplex is barely taller than Omega Supreme - like maybe by an inch or two.
I applied the perfect amount of glue, it fits snug but not too much. it felt like brain surgery, one false move and ggpo Metroplex.
all in all, I love it. the legs are a little floppy for having ratchety joints but its nothing too major, it bugs me that he has a TON of little parts, some of which have nowhere to go (Im looking at YOU big white chest piece/satellite thing). it big, imposing, looks awesome and it feels solid in your hands. I like big robot toys so this was a must get.
on that note, why was Metroplex always touted as being this huge titanic robot in the cartoon/artwork while Fort Max was like, about the size of Ultra Magnus? yet Fort Max got the awesomely HUGE toy.
Hasbro/Takara never got scales right and they most certainly never will.
come on China. bootleg 3 foot tall Metroplex.
make that shit happen.
Someoneās already making a 4.5 foot tall Metroplex. Look on TFW2005ās kitbashing forum.
