TRU had a huge restock of figures. I went ahead and picked up Acid Storm.

I saw Unicron ($39), and the other Universe figs (Quickmix/Blaster/Jetstorm/others) as well as the titanium Grims and Prowl.

Im finally finding new TFs without having to hunt them down. mostly Cybertron repaints and Animated leader class figures. Megatron looks awesome.

True. I pre-order just in case, but like 90% of the time I find what I’m looking for in stores before my pre-order is charge/shipped and I cancel it.

IDW stuff is good, I personally like them. You could only enjoy it more if you discard all the old 80s cartoons stuff and whatnot.

ohhhh man I need the Diaclone and the black repaints! I couldnt choose so I guess Ill buy both. I told myself it was too much but theyre gorgeous and probably 10 times better than what Hasbro could come up with

Upcoming Universe and Animated

Looks like Starscream is getting another release in the Classics/Universe line. This looks like a hybrid of his original Classics release as well as Henkei.

We’ll also be getting Cyclonus, Hound, and Cheetor.

As for Animated, we’ll be getting Swindle, Blurr, and Shockwave as new molds.

Finally Cyclonus gets some lovin’ :tup:

personally the difference between G1 megs and Diaclone (?) megs arent different enough to warrant a purchase. however I will definitely be getting Sunstorm.

Yea buddy. I’ll be getting Sunstorm but I’ve got no interest in the Megatron.

It’s official: Grimlock is the next Masterpiece figure (MP-08) and the pre-order is up on BBTS. Due out in March 2009.
