That scale, not the Diaclone drivers themselves. She handed me a big ass box of Micro Machine Action Fleet toys which included 30-40 of the little drivers for those who are in the same scale.

for those that care, TV nihon has subbed the first episode of Car Robots.

edit
after watching it…I wont be watching any more of this series.

More production shots of TF2 from the Bethlehem, PA set:

Even though Bay said he wanted to start shooting in June, I still recommend taking this with a grain of salt concerning the blatant misinformation that’s to be expected.

RiD is actually quite good. You have to accept that it’s going to have some kiddie moments, but the whole story is based around Fortress Maximus as he was put on Earth in sleeper mode years ago.

I never knew that because I could never get past all the ā€œkiddie momentsā€. Was Fort Max ever actually seen or participate in this series?

I also didn’t like that the Decepticons were a bunch of bumbling bafoons. It was like watching an episode of the Three Stoogeacons. Megatron was incompitant and that Shark guy was really gay. I forget who the third was that irritated me but you know what I mean.

Nice toys though.

Fort Max actually fights balls to the wall by the end of the show.

Now, later on (and the initial villans are the Predacons), Megatron actually recruits a gang of Decepticons to his side. They are hard-core, no more F-ing up.

Also, Megatron turning to Galvatron is a big change. He gets to be competant and dangerous.

I just got my Megatron G1 takara masterpiece. I got it for 120 bucks do you guys think it was a good deal? I picked it up at chinatown NY.

I got mine for approx $100 shipped on TFSource. Did he come with the upgrade kit?

Animated toys are out on the east coast (at least in NY) if anyone is interested.

First main line in years I will not be buying.

It’s too different, too kiddie, and does not follow enough of the established visual trending for me to want to put these figures in my 1000+ figure collection.

Too bad…

I like a little variety

Not a bad price, really. I got mone for $87.00 + $10.00 s/h online.

I’m not buying any of the new stuff either, but then again, I’ve been staying away from a lot of the new TF stuff for a while now.

when I get a job Ill probably be picking up most of this line. leader class megatron looks awesome, so does prime (put not as much), starscream look badass, ultra magnus looks like permanent display material (really really awesome), everyone looks good.

Im actually more hyped for those new tiny classics of jazz, hound and G2 megatron.
I actually had a really weird dream, I went to this toys r us and their store layout was similar to how it looked in the early 2000s before they changed it. so I go to the tf section and see them on the shelves, only they werent tiny, they were as big as deluxes. G2 megatron looked hardcore in my dream and then someones car alarm outside woke me up and I never got to see what happened next.

animated toys out? goes to wal-mart

What’s this upgrade kit your talking about? The stock and extension for the pistol that the original toy had?

Edit: I found out what it was. Damn it I wish the place had the accessory kit. Is there a link to a place where I could buy it separately?

www.tfsource.com should have them

Cool thanks. I like this megatron tons better than the original. 58 bucks isn’t too bad for the accessory kit. I got a reissue G1 optimus prime that I found at a Toys ā€˜R’ Us a while back. I paid 40 bucks which isn’t too bad. Plus I have a convoy Optimus Prime that combines with the trailer that’s pretty cool.

I’m planning on picking up more toys. I love TF. I got the whole series when they remastered them on dvd.

I have to check out the comic books. The stories seem really good.

This guy I know went to the TF2 shoot in Bethlehem, PA…said he got some video of Bay and the crew. I’ll be sure to post the links as soon as he uploads them to his photobucket account.

Yea, MP Megs is perhaps one of the cheaper figures from that line. MP-01 and MP-04 Prime are expensive as hell and Ultra Magnus is up there. Even Skywarp costs a little more than an unmodded Megs. I think ā€œOlivescreamā€ is pretty pricey as well. But I’m going by those inflated eBay listings and what I’ve come across on TFSource.

So far, a lot of the people from the TFW2005 board that were skeptical about the Animated toyline were eventually swayed and are actually enjoying them. I bought a Blackarachnia and Ratchet today at Walmart. I’m really in the hunt for Prowl, Starscream, Megatron, and Prime but these two should hold me over. I’ll post a pseudo review when I take them out of the box and play around with them for a bit.
