For me, that looks terrible. The only animated figure I’ve seen that I like is Grimlock. But since I’ve still never seen Classics Grimlock anywhere, the cahnces of me finding this figure are 0.001%.
So you don’t like the art style then? Because all of these toys = their animated counterparts. Prime is only missing his grappling hooks here.
I know a guy on TFW2005 that’s selling his MOSC Classics Grimlock for $20 shipped. Want me to pass the word on to him? I’ve bought from him before.
I’ve actually never liked any cartoon of this animation style - it’s just ugly. The only show I watched regularly was Clone Wars and ever that was sometimes tough to keep from turning it off. I watched some TFA on YouTube during my lunch break, and honestly, it’s about as horrible as I thought it would be. But props to you all that like it though.
That’s cool, but I can do without. I’m so damn broke I can’t even afford a damn $5.00 G.I. Joe when I see one @ Target. But thanks for looking out for me, Satomi.
KB is selling Energon toys in Universe packaging. There’s not a huge collection, but I did grab myself Steamhammer and Barricade.
Also, I should let you guys know that I’ve recently gotten back into kitbashing and a project I’ve been thinking about working on is (get ready)…Computron using a combination of Cybertron and Energon figures.
I’m going to see about using Cyb Metroplex as a base for the combiner, but I have Swerve and Ransack as Lightspeed and Afterburner respectively.
Look it up if you’re unsure who Computron is.
I randomly found Revoltech Starscream today. Of course I had to pick him up. He’s going to look awesome next to Revoltech Megatron. The box even has a great posing suggestion.
Nice idea! Good luck man!
By the way, don’t know if you mean you already have Cyb Metroplex or you’re going to buy him, but if you are then he’s on sale right now with free ship -

If I were still a Premie, I’d rep you, Sixshot.
But you reminded me of one cartoon that I did like that animation style, and that was Batman: TAS. The very first series was awesome, and the style was unique so it was acceptable to me but it did take some getting used to. The much later Batman shows I couldn’t get into at all, especially the most recent one with that horrible Jackie Chan animated style. Yuck.
But I’m really curious why all the new TF lines that come out (BW, RID, Energon, Armada, etc.) is why Classics doesn’t get a TV show? WTF? They finally bring out new designs of classic characters that everyone loves, but they skip it and go straight to TFA. Who was the fucking brainiac behind that decision?
I’d like a series using the War Within character design.
really? well, aside from classics being a side line, just like universe and alternators and rereleases, and the fact that theline had less than 20 figures total, and that cartoons are essntially toy commercials, and that G1 has roughly 1 billion stories across cartoons and conics already, and the fact that cybertron was the main line while classics ran, and the fact that the toys are markeded to freaking kids, I can’t think of a single reason. you sure do espouse a lot of ignorant fanboyism. why can’t people like you appreciate that there WAS a classics line in the first place?
I love how on the boxes of the Alternators packaging, it says ages 5+
I’m sorry, but what 5 year old would be to able successfully transform an Alternator? He’d have to have a dad do it for him. And what child wants to have that happen? If I were a 5 year old, I would be crying out of frustration trying to get it into bot form. It would become broken after the first attempt.
And what 5 year old will appreciate the realistic and accurate details of an Alternator?
Not to mention the kid would’ve slammed it into walls and other toys, ripped off the tires, and lost the engine piece.
I regret not taking care of some of the TF I had as a kid.
I’m not really bothered by SMB’s sentiment toward TFA or the movie for that matter. It’s not nearly as bad as the shit people post on TF forums. SMB states his opinion, whereas the annoying fanboys will actually berate you for enjoying something that isn’t G1.
Hey Warp, what exactly the fuck is up your ass? Most everytime I post something about TF you jump in acting like you’re all high and mighty. Just because you seem to know a lot of factual information doesn’t mean you can shove your information in my face constantly. Call me a fanboy, whatever, but you’re one of those fucking geeked out dorks that makes Trekkies look like designer fashion models.
Please excuse me for not burying my head into tons of useless toy information and having a fucking life. I’m sure glad we’ve got someone like you who can tell me every single version of Optimus Prime that’s ever existed. You make the world a much better place. Since I’ve seem to upset you so much with my fanboy-ism, maybe you should go to sleep on your Transformer bedsheets, and don’t forget to put on your Megatron slippers too.
My ex-wife bought my son the Stepper Alternator against my wishes because I knew he’d just break it. Yup, he broke it just minutes after opening it. Alt’s are way too complex for 10 year olds.
Because Hasbro doesn’t want to keep pandering to us/you old fogies. It’s no different than anyone wanting to do something with their property. Not everything Hasbro does with transformers is out to please you. I mean, you aren’t picking up the toy guns and what are they called, cyber slammers (?), are you? Didn’t think so. But a Saturday morning cartoon show filled with squishy goodness for the wee tykes on up to the adults that can appreciate the change is what Hasbro is going after.
Shit and Hasbro has clearly made the right choice. Forums are fired up to pick up these figures the moment they drop. You see how they are selling on ebay? Do you? It’s bananas. Classics can’t even touch that kind of popularity.
this is hilarious. how are you gonna throw knowing what the fuck i’m talking aboui at me like an insult? this is the standard loser pussy reaction. I have a life! that makes it okay to talk out of my ass! let me make up some shit about you. bitch, please.ignoring my megatron slippers for a moment, you repeatedly and habitually berate hasbro for not doing exactly what you want, with no consideration for the fact that YOU’RE NOT THEIR DEMOGRAPHIC. calling them “brainiacs” sarcastically for not pandering to your old niche ass is some pussy shit. making up shit about me for answering your whiny, stupid ass question is pussiest shit. and the worst part? you have a kid, so you should know better.
LOL whatever, dude. I’m obviously upset your matrix so badly you can’t seem so form a coherant sentence.
It sure seems to upset you that I hate on Hasbro a lot. Fact is, I do hate on Hasbro because they constantly fuck shit up, then they repaint it nineteen times so that it looks even worse. But I’ve vented enough times about Hasblo… whom apperantly you seem to have somekind of gay man-love obsession with.
And I’m not sure how I’m not in their demographic. Transformers has been targeted towards the adult collector disguised as childrens toy for years now.
yep, bullshit. but you’re a lost cause, so whatever.
So has anyone happend to find a cheaper source to pre-order the cape & crown for MP Starscream? I can’t see myself paying $25.00 + shipping for that tiny thing.
Speaking of Alternators, anyone know where I can find instructions online? A friend tried to transform Jazz, fucked it up, and now he’s in this weird half-car/half-robot state. I’ve been trying to transform him back, but I can’t find my instruction manual and…I can’t do it.
I found Shockwave/Shockblast’s instructions, which is identical to Jazz’s…
