Are you guys watching Transformers animated? It’s such a good show and damn do I ever want all the figures.
I am. I wouldn’t say it’s so damn good. It had a good stretch of 3 straight Decepticon themed episodes, but then reverted to its stock villains.
I want the toys more though, specifically Prime, Megatron, and Starscream. The Dinobots and Prowl look pretty sweet too.

That’s why I do like the show. It deals with human threats and not just Decepticon. And the show deals with the collateral damage too which is a nice aspect. Oh and it’s in Detroit, me home town. I hope they managed to squeeze in some more easter eggs for us Detroiters to pick up on. Like the interstates (I-94 is a major freeway in Detroit and was mentioned in one episode) and I hope they mention parks or other public places. Although I do like how the Decepticons are straight up war machines and the Autobots are not. It makes every fright so serious.
I mean I don’t remember G1 too well. Just the movie which is better than anything, period. So I can look at this show without comparing it too much to other transformer series (since Armada was ass).
