So I checked my local Walmart for the first time since Black Friday and saw the Cybertron 2-packs as advertised. It was slim. All they really had was the Excellion/Thundercracker and Downshift/Cannonball (?). Itās cool though. Iām getting Excellion in the mail and heās really the only Deluxe fig I care about at the moment.
Well, I got Anniversary Prime. It was the DVD version. The smokestacks are small and the blue gun kind of sucks, but eh. Everything else is great, so I canāt complain. Seriously, I phoned around and couldnāt even find any MPās, much less Prime, so I figured I shouldnāt let this slip through my fingertips. Iām happy with it.
If youāre able to āphone aroundā and get MP anything, Iām very impressed. Thereās about one store in all of Seattle ( Kicks Hobby) that I would expect to have anything ($110 for MP Skywarp, $150 for MP Megatron). http://phatcollectibles.net (in Anaheim) should be able to hook you up very reasonably if they have stuff in stock, but theyāre pretty much phone orders only. Still they had non-ātippedā MP Megatronās for $125, which was pretty darned good.

Kicks Hobby was the first place I checked after reading Azās post. They used to have MP4 for $200, but they donāt have him anymore.
Recently Iāve been on a Comic ādata collectionā and have recently been interested in reading the TF comics, so if anyone knows where to find the comics in a batch can someone PM me with it plz?

Now, you just canāt find him at a reasonable price. I saw one at BotCon sell for $80 and it was missing parts.

I almost had one at a decent price on eBay. Then I changed my mind. This was back in September.

Thanks, but my problem is that Iām in Japan, and these stores arenāt really accessible to me.
Youād figure that being in Japan, the place where the damn toys are made, finding them would be easier. Not really. I had a hobby shop that was pretty good, but these days theyāve been stocking less and less TF stuff. Dedicated toy shops are kind of rare, and the ones that do exist primarily focus on movie toys. Most of the time, if you go to a hobby/figure shop, you end up getting a shitload of Gundam/otaku stuff, but no TFās.
For me at least, I have to snatch up the MPās as soon as they come out, because if the well dries, it will be difficult/impossible to find them again.
