He probably was given a blue basecoat. I got mine in the mail on Saturday. Have you rubbed the weathering off of yours? I’m not sure if I want to just yet. I’m afraid I’ll fuck it up somehow. Perhaps the weathered version will be worth a lot.
In other jet news, I just bought this sweet Takara Galaxy Force Dreadrock (Cybertron Jetfire) for $45.00 Other auctions had him between $70-100. You know, the Cybertron line is pretty cool although I didn’t care for the show much. I bought Metroplextoo. The alt mode sucks since he’s bending over and looking to take it up the ass but very nice robot mode nonetheless.

Got my Wally World Starscream in the mail Saturday - that now wins for best MP Transformer so far. The etched lines look really really good on him. (IMHO, without having Megatron: Starscream > Skywarp > Optimus > Ultra Magnus. ) One nice benefit of having both Ultra Magnus and Optimus is that I have two Megatron-style guns so each Seeker gets their own. When/if they make Thundercracker I don’t know what the hell I’ll do.

I know I’m a bit late to the party, but I found MP Starscream in Wal Mart this weekend.
Anyone who is worried about finding one…don’t be.
Each store is getting between 10-20 of the figure. As long as you buy when you find him, you should be fine. A year from now…eh

I’d be worried. I found a walmart here locally that had 16 or so. Not even 2 weeks later - all gone. From what I hear, it’s a “once it’s sold, that’s it” kind of deal.
depends. do you perfer you box in english or japanese? Also once factor in the the shipping cost which one is cheeper for you? Other than that as far as I am aware of the US MP starscream and the JP Anime Starscream are supposed to be exactly the same.

If you’re in Japan, just wait. Anywhere else, just compare the shipping rates. $50 for American Anime MP Starscream + shipping or $80 + shipping from Japan for the TakTomy version.
I think it’s an issue of price alone since we don’t know if the Japanese version will be “Clean” or not.
