I can ask my Mom (angel of a woman) to pick one up and mail it with her next care package. Thing is, I don’t really want to make her spend money on the figure/shipping if I don’t have to.
Most of the places here in Japan I know have pretty much given up on other lines and only exclusively stock movie toys. :bluu: My favorite hobby shop has MP Skywarp, and the US MP Prime, but no other MP’s. They’ve stopped restocking Alt’s, as well as Classics/Titanium. It’s a bit depressing.
No sarcasm intended, my friend. We hated that movie. I would :dp: Micheal Bay in his right eye if I saw him.
from SMB again:
Even though I have the original MP Starscream, I’m wondering what else Takara is going to add to this figure. If this new one includes the Decepticon crown, cape and shoulder pads he was rumored too in the first release, I’d scream murder and be forced to buy another one.
Isn’t a new line of Classics coming out in Japan though?
Fair enough. I never expected all TF fans to like it. You’re at least civil about it unlike those rants Kalypso posted a few months ago, where he berated everyone that enjoyed it.
You guys have said that MP SkyWarp is more sturdier than the first release of MP Screamer. How does the Wal-Mart Screamer compare to the previous two?
I was looking through some of my old collectable cards (mostly comic cards) and I found some G1 Transformers cards. Some were character profile cards, and others were screencaps from the cartoon with a plot synopsis on the back. Anybody else have these?
MP Skywarp is not technically any more study than MP-03 (1st release Starscream).
He feels more sturdy due to the clear coat over his black hull. It makes the plastic just a little bit thicker. Also, MP-03 was not painted. His base color is his plastic color. For whatever reason, that plastic color (and colors matter in plastic make up) just feels brittle, though it really isn’t.
Wal Mart Starscream is somewhere in between those two. Though I should really say, that there aren’t any physical problems with MP-03 (numerous, well documented paint issues…). He has a complex transformation and when ever that happens…all the meat-hands start checking in, claiming that the figure is made from crap and is defective. The truth is, that the fault is usually theirs.
I finally found my TF collecting goal. Sadly, these goals do not include the majority of Beast Wars and Beast Machines toys out there.
I am going to start posting up things for sale that just don’t fit in with the direction I’m going collectionwise.
For now, I will only have a list (my camera was stolen along with every electronic bit of ‘cool’ in my apartment last week). However, my eBay feedback is perfect: Daidoji_Kage So, look that up.
Also, here is some of my references from Seibertron:
Please, PM me with an offer. I don’t have prices finalized yet and am just starting to get this into gear.
Best of luck! All are complete and loose unless otherwise stated.
(I also have a collection of Marvel Legends, SW Clone Troopers, and SW Droids for sale, PM me with inquiries.)
Blackarachnia (Anime Reissue)
Blackarachnia TM2
Cheetor (15th Ann. Reissue)
Iguanus
Lazorbeak
Megatron TM2 (Only 1 missle, chrome is great)
Optimus Primal TM
Polar Claw
Rhinox (15th Ann. Reissue)
Scavenger
Tarantulas (15th Ann. Reissue)
Tigatron
You don’t happen to have a spare TM2 Megatron you’d be willing to part with, would ya? That’s one figure I’ve always wanted to obtain but I missed out, and Ebay prices are crazy for that one.
I do, TM2 Megatron is listed there. He only has one of his 3 missiles though. It doesn’t so much matter. He can only hold 2 at any time and the second one is supposed to plug into his robot head (wtf? ). The red chroming is in almost perfect condition though.
See…I’ve bought nearly everything TF related the past 5 years out of fear that I wouldn’t be able to find it again or that the prices would jump quickly.
I have a nearly complete set of Armada, Energon, Cybertron and Classics. It’s honestly impressive, like a modern complete G1 collection. So, I’m just going to pursue the rare, rare items from those lines now. (Ice Magnus, White dvd Chromia, dvd Sideways, etc)
At any rate, PM me an offer, or I’ll do some market research tonight and get you a price which is slightly below cost.
Check out this Custom Prowl I won. I can’t believe it went this low by custom figure standards. I mean, Jin Saotome made a Custom Prowl that went for $300.00? And because his name isn’t on it, people apparently aren’t willing to bid. Strange stuff. This one ran me $76.00 with S&H.
