Not bad. Not bad at all.
Optimus is just meh to meā¦ but BB is pretty good, prolly 2nd to the classics figure imo.

The designs arenāt that bad for the toys. The faces are kinda nice. They give the figures character as opposed to those stoic expressions weāve come to know and love. I donāt know if Iāll ever bother catching the series considering I didnāt watch much RID, Armada, or Energon either. Weāll see.
Ok I take back anything positive Iāve said about Animated toys. They look horrible.

The TF Animated toys look terrible. Every one that Iāve seen looks like shit. I kinda like Bumblebee, and thatās it. They look like Beast Machines type quality. Theyāre too frail and skinny looking. I wonāt knock the show yet since for one I havenāt seen it, and two I actually like everything about it expect for the Teen Titans look for the characters. It could work ok depending on how good the show is, but converting that style to Transformers toys = instant failure in my opinion. That aside, I love the way the characters look as far as the colors, the designs, and all of the faces with the exception of Optimus. The voice cast is a pretty damn good lineup, the old transformation sound is back, Megatron once again has a big fusion cannon, thereās alot to like. I just wish they wouldnāt have decided to go with that skinny, whatever-you-call-it style.
You know Iām gonna hold you to that.
And yea Iām pretty unimpressed with this new line. Iām gonna skip it altogether and try to get me a few G1s/classics instead.

Well, I can say ONE thing about the new line. Theyāve saved me some money in the future, because I donāt see myself buying a single one of these.

Thatās a pretty sweet lithograph, but I canāt help you. There is a Predaking/Superion/Defensor litho someone posted a few weeks back going for $100 though.
Out of the TFA line, Iāll probably get Prime, Scream, and Prowl.
Iām not opposed to the designs. Itās like when the artwork for the movie started getting leaked last year and the G1 faithful called it blasphemy. Didnāt bug me either. My only issue were Ratchetās colors. Itās not because they werenāt G1. Just that green and red color combos make me queasy. Always have. That shit only works on Xmas decorations.
Iām okay with these guys. Theyāre at least better than that Star Wars crossover bullshit. I refuse to let that one go. Although I do admit the Darth Vader/Death Star looks pretty good. Itās 10% off at K-Mart right now.

If Iām not mistaken, I believe Wal-mart allows lay-aways. So you could just ask them to hold it with your $4.00 and pick it up when you have the rest of your cash, that way you donāt risk some bitch-ass buying them all.
