I have ALT Wheeljack. I like him, but I’ve always liked Wheeljack/Mustangs anyway, so there’s an obvious bias. I don’t think you should pay anymore than $30-40, $50 as an extreme max if you really love Wheeljack.
I refuse to buy MP02 Ultra Magnus, simply because I am against the idea of re-paints.
I was kind of curious my ALT Hound myself, but not enough to pick him up. The jeep is cool, but I was never a big fan of the character.
Which sucks, because I thought ALT’s were cool, if not a bit repetitive after awhile though. But I kind of thought of them as Masterpiece Autobots with current designs.
I still want ALT Prowl, but he’s a bitch to find. If they’d made an ALT Iron Hide, I would have been content with the entire line.
MP Skywarp says Hi! He’s the best repaint to come along in a while. But yeah, screw MP-02 Magnus. If they were going to MP him, they should have at LEAST did the trailer combo bit.
And don’t make fun of my stupid dilipidated broken Ultra Magnus “Masterpiece Edition” cardboard trailer. It’s all a homeless robot can put together. anger

Ultra Magnus looks great, but yeah, he’s just a repaint. MP Skywarp kicks his ass to Cybertron and back. Buy 2 Skywarps, f*ck MP Ultra Magnus, he’s way overpriced for the value you’ll get. (My collection is MP Prime + trailer, MP-02 UM, and MP Skywarp, with Binaltech Tracks hanging out in the trailer.)
Well, I was at Walmart tonight and bought things I need to start customizing figures. I’m finicky about the paint so I’ll be looking for Tamiya or similar brands in town.
One of the things I’m looking to do is replace Movie G1 Jazz’s stupid fork hands with the ones from his replica figure. I would just need to paint them black. That’s a pretty common thing with these Jazz customs. Does anyone else kitbash or has attempted to?
Since it’s a 24/7 Walmart and past midnight, I snagged a copy of the TF DVD. There’s a 2-disc set with the bonus prequel, one with hours of behind the scenes, and a regular copy with no special features listed. No need to guess which one I went for.
Whoever gets the Transforming DVD one, post pics.
p.s. How much would you guys bid on a loose Predaking (all weapons) with only some minor sticker wear?

All you bastards with full Predakings… I’m pretty jealous. :tup: I just had the rhino (Headstrong). But I don’t think it really melded well with the original G1 universe (the only one I like).

I’d expect to pay about $150 or so for a loose complete Predaking. But I’ve always thought of him as the weakest (read: least desirable) of the main US G1 Combiners. shrug
The transforming DVD case is, and I don’t use this phrase lightly, “Dope as fuck.”
I bought the Target dvd and the Legends of a Hero Bumblebee 2-pack. The 2-pack was discounted to $15 and for buying them both, I got a $5 gift card (the Transforming Optimus one).
The 2-pack purchase was just for funsies. I didn’t need it, but I really like buying things.
At any rate, I’ll hold it a month and spot it on eBay for $30. Thanks Target!
If you plan on getting the Toys at Best Buy run there and do it now. They are only getting 10 Total at each store. That’s 5 Ratchets, 5 Megatrons and no more.
I bought Rescue Ratchet last week at Wal-Mart and I haven’t opened him yet and I still have the receipt. I might return him and get the Movie from Wal-mart since I want that Digital Comic and I now have a nice metallic finish Ratchet now.
That is unless someone on gives me a good reason to keep RR.
I have Alt Prowl, he’s not that great of a figure. Very blocky in the legs so there’s hardy any movement there, the gun sucks and the doors pop off too easily. The nightstick is a cool addition but he’s my least favorite Alt.
Tempest: I missed my chance at buying Hound and got Swindle instead, wished I hadn’t. Wanna trade?

PsychoSquall: that Ironhide custom pwns me. Of all the odd repaints that Takara/Hasbro created, this one was a no-brainer - it even looked like him. Yet it never happened. I wanyed to see a Ratchet too.
oh yes, just got back from best buy. I got the set with the robot heroes figures.
cliffjumper is really cool, but prime has battle damaged paint and someone went a little crazy with the black paint on prime. half his gun is all black and most of his right leg is smeared in black. still really cool and Im glad to have them in my collection.
