I paid close to $100 for my Smokescreen. I feel stupid, insanely geeky, and hardcore all at the same time.
So I’ve been meaning to ask: what are some of your collecting horror stories?
Nothing lasting to be honest.
My initial Reissue Soundblaster was actually melted in the package.
BBTS replaced it, no problem.
My initial MP Starscream had been damaged in the packaged.
BBTS replaced it, no problem.
Other than that, no real horror stories, only massive triumphs.
Like buying Armada Unicron for $10. Taking it to TRU and exchanging it for a brand new Energon Unicron.
And buying G1 Swoop for $25 at a comic shop.
I work at blockbuster and we get to rent movies before they come out, I rented transformers tonight and watched it on the 60 inch with the surround sound assist and the movie was incredible.
I will hurt you if you don’t get Mirage.

Snaggin my copy tonight. We got displays in the back and it’s just too damn tempting. As long as I don’t use my discount card they won’t be able to tell that one was purchsed early. :bgrin:
Gonna try to finish my custom paint job Movie Megatron this weekend, I’m itching to show it off and also to display finally.
Mirage is one of the more unique (and good) toys in years.
There’s really nothing like him previously.
He also fits in pretty well with the original G1 cars.

Agreed. It is pretty nice and the transfomation is fairly easy. Plus Mirage took down the Memesis all by hiself so how can you not want to have him.
