I have MP Skywarp. What do you want to know? He looks fricking fantastic (I’ve been tempted to buy another one so I can have one in each mode), is hard to transform the first time (like Starscream), his fingers are a little less able to hold the Megatron gun (that comes with MP Optimus) but he can prop it up between both hands, and he comes up to about the middle of MP Optimus’s chest. I think he’s 10" tall, but don’t have a ruler… (lemme check…)
FWIW, I saw black MP3 Soundwave on the Japanese auction sites yesterday… I didn’t even know that existed.
I’m going to import a Masterpiece Ultra Magnus from Japan… I have no idea what that’s going to cost (I imagine 10000Y + 1500Y proxy fee + oodles of yen for shipping), but can report back if people are interested. (Yen are basically 90% of pennies, so 100Y is usually about 90$ or so.)
If people want $125 uncapped Masterpiece Megatrons, I’ve got a Cali source for those that will get them in October. (Met the guy at SDCC, he’s cool.)
EDIT: Yep, he’s 10" tall. Optimus is about 12".

I’d get Skywarp. He’s really cheap right now and looks phenomenal. Megatron will always be hindered by the scale issue (tiny gun to big robot), but the jets don’t have that problem.
I may get the Skywarp after all. I also picked up the G1 repaint of Deluxe Jazz. The colors made it worth it. Better than the boring gray they originally used in the movie and initial line.
One of the toys that wasn’t in the actual movie, but part of the same line (Wreckage), looks way better than I thought. Ended up ordering him too.
I’m very new to the idea of collecting so forgive me.
I guess here’s the advantage of living in Japan, because I can find MP Skywarp pretty easily. I’m tempted to get him, but I already have MP Starscream (Olive) and I’m pretty sure I’m going to get the Starscream repaint, so I don’t particularly want 3 MP Seekers. Skywarp’s not even that interesting of a character.
If I may be honest for a moment here…I don’t really like MP Megatron. Gun mode is really cool (although a bit oversized) and the transformation is innovative, but I feel they f’ed up the robot mode. His legs and pelvic area are really way too small/underdeveloped. And the fusion cannon is frickin huge, which distracts from Megs in general. Not to mention the figure is very rigid and un-posable (the huge fusion cannon doesn’t help here). Definintely my least favorite out of the MP series.
I’ll probably pick up Skywarp this week. I don’t know. I just don’t feel like spending money. I did get the Classics Jetfire a few weeks ago. I love it. Best $20 ever.
:-/ But Megatron never worked as a toy gun. Only as a tank. Though they did have a chance to get it right with Classics line but alas.

I can tell you what happened to him. It was in the movie comic - he was thrown into a bridge/building by Prime so hard, his head went flying off.
So he did die - on Starscream Movie G1 Bio, it said he was the sole survivor. So no Barricade in TF2.

They’re BOTH awesome. I think Skywarp is probably my favorite TF purchase of the year, though.

Co-sign about Skywarp. If he transformed easier, he might be the best toy ever made. 
This month’s Toyfare has a small pick of the November Hasbro Masterpiece Starscream. Definitely US G1 colors, and definitely some “burn” shading at the back of his right wing. Looks good though.
It looks like Ultra Magnus is going for 15000Y at Yahoo Japan auctions, so if you’re horrified by the eBay prices… there’s a second possibility for you. =P
