You know, I really love Welker’s voice but it hasn’t aged well and I’m somewhat glad they brought in Weaving despite the fact they used voice enhancers to make him sound more intimidating.

I’ve always wondered how Andy Serkis (Gollum from the LOTR movies) would’ve done as Megatron. He has an amazing character voice and I’m sure he could’ve captured at least some of Welker’s nuances from the G1 show.
Motherfucker did the sounds of King Kong in 2005. That should at least tell you of his capabilities as a voice actor.

I’m not really a TF Fan but I thought I’d pass the info to any UK fans, Sky Channel 199 the new anime channel has officially started and they’ll be showing three different Transformer shows, “Headmasters”, “Super-God Masterforce” and “Victory”.

I got Deluxe Bonecrusher and Jazz (G1 colors) in the mail over the weekend. Both toys are pretty cool. I just wish Bonecrusher was bigger. They totally could’ve done a Leader toy of him.
Does anyone have Titanium Series Soundwave? I got him last week. Cool toy but he’s a bitch to stand up. The legs just aren’t stable enough so I have him propped up against a shelf on my desk.
Also, does anyone do any customs or repaints on here?

I ripped off all the extra parts though. I want it to look like the actual robot in the movie, so the wings and extra arm parts were removed. I used the promo shot of him with the open hand coming at you for reference.
Sounds very cool. I’ve never actually played around with either of those Megs, but was the blue plastic supposed to ice? I don’t know why both figures were released the way they were. He just looks tacky with those bright colors.
It wouldn’t surprise me if someone took it upon themselves to create an unofficial Leader Class Bonecrusher. Hell, maybe Hasbro will release a bigger version.
Speaking of repaints, I’d like to invest in some touch up paint in case a figure gets scratched up or comes with any defects. What would you recommend?

robot heroes ftw. brawl and barricade look awesome. and dammit they even made a psycho killing machine like scorponok look cute. my only complaint with the robot heroes is that the plastic is a bit too soft and sometimes it feels like I might tear the limbs off (the neck joint on shrapnel comes to mind)
The joys of being back in America - I picked up G1 repaint movie Jazz the other day. It looked like there was an entire shelf of them…was. I got the last one. I haven’t opened it yet, but within the package it looks sexy.

I bought Voyager Prime finally. I’ve got the Barricade/Bumblebee and Blackout/Scorponok 2-packs coming in the mail. I’d buy Megatron but I just can’t stand his color scheme. And I’m not good with paint.
