Out of all the TF’s… who was your fav?

My is Starscream from G1. The ambition, the treachery, the smarts… you cannot deny the fact that he was the definition of a Decepticon. And even after all that he did to overthrow Megatron, he still kept him around(well, megs casted him away a couple times, but he always took him back). Even in the first episode you can see his character shine. Plus, he was the only one wit the balls to throw Megatron off of Astrotrain on their way back to Cybertron, even though he was repairable. What other TF ever lived on as a ghost…

Amen. Starscream will always be my favorite.

as for sky-lynx…whats so appealing about it? its a silly dragon jet cat robot…oh wait. that is awesome.

Masterpiece Skywarp is out. I’m not a fan of the character, but the black does look attractive, and for a moment I was temped to buy him. For a re-paint, I am glad they at least changed the face molds.

On the back of the box, there’s an image of the three seekers in plane mode “flying” in the sky…there’s Skywarp in the lead, then MP Starscream and a blue-colored MP jet as well. There is a caption that said “this is just an image”, so I wouldn’t hold my breath for an MP Thundercracker…but you never know I guess.

^-- I got mine today - looks great. Very very very black. The optional “angry face” is kind of funny to me. I wish there was a holding place for the Megatron gun clamp and that the jet pose standee was more horizontal (it’s at 10 degrees or so) but otherwise it looks great.

OK, after finally transforming him–
I’d heard a lot about how Starscream broke too easily, so tried being really careful. As it was I did break one extraneous nob that locked his arms into the body. I wasn’t sure if it was a tracked groove or what, but nope, it was a nob that was locked into place and broke when I applied pressure. So be really really careful. He definitely needs something to hold when in robot mode, too, so hopefully you have Optimus or Megatron too.

I think it’s funny that none of the box pictures show him with his decals. But they included some spare ones too (JETSTROM DECEPTICONS, etc), which was cool. Lots of attention to detail. Now I just need a better pilot than the dumb one they supply. :tup:

Yea. The Starscream mold is actually pretty complex. Following the instructions the first time around is helpful, but at times there are points when you are told to do something, but the movement or joint is super tight and it feels lik you’ll break it.

I was going to sell off my MP Starscream (takara) since the Hasbro release is coming, but now with Skywarp here, I’ll just keep that original release as Thundercracker until we get a real one.

I’m not a big collector, but I was at Walmart yesterday and bought Leader Class Brawl. I just wish Bonecrusher was this big and detailed.

man, the tf section is fucking deserted no matter where I go. all I see is real gear figures collecting dust and optimus prime helmets. if Im at target they usually have a few basic/scout class exclusives sitting around and thats all.

come to think of it, not once have I seen a voyager class prime, let alone robo vision prime. that one looks better than leader class if you ask me. I cant get over how short leader primes legs are compared to the source material.

That’s the same case where I look too. Prime helmets and those stupid Starscream guns.

As for the movie toys, I got Starscream and Brawl. Looking to get Bonecrusher, Ironhide (maybe), and Barricade (double maybe). I’m not feeling movie Prime or Megs for that matter.

I read on here that Blackout’s figure is a little disappointing. Can anyone elaborate?

Leader Prime is fantastic. You can’t compare movie accuracy between these figures, not when Voyager Prime has an entire Truck cab just hanging off his back. :lame:

Leader Prime may not be exactly movie accurate, but you know what? He’s a superior design to the one actually in the film.

Has anyone gotten MP Skywarp? How big is he?

I just bought TS Soundwave at Toys R Us yesterday. I love it. Laserbeak’s cool for how simple he is.

Also bought Movie Deluxe Bonecrusher. I know he’s small, but he was one of my favorites in the movie despite getting peaced out in under 30 seconds. His toy is pretty neat.

p.s. Does anybody order directly from the Hasbro website?
