You’re talking Robot Masters, and it’s a pretty nondescript line. Not a lot of figures, and they’re not particularly nice. Starscream inparticular is pretty flawed–he’s not all that posable, sadly.
Yo wassup guys, last week I bought Beast Wars Transformers Season 1 & all I can say is that this series ROCKS! Seriously when my bro bought Transformers G1 (Season 1~3) & Armada Season 1, I couldn’t get myself to watch them, but Beast Wars was another story, I guess it’s cuz BW has a really neat plot. TBH I’m at a loss on who my fav. character is, I like Rattrap, Dinobot, Optimus, Trantulas & Waspinator. …but I’m leaning more to Waspinator he’s too badass.
Megatron’s pretty cool too, gotta love his line when Black Arachnia asked him why he talk to himself sometimes, too bad I can’t remember it now. …but I the episode that line was is my FAVOURITE episode of Season 1.
Akutabi, they re-released a lot of the old Beast Wars figures, including Waspinator…
and yeah, I was thinking “Robot Masters”…I think Screamer looks cool…even if he’s not that posable, he’s gotta be better than G1…
the Prime leaves me thinking ‘meh’, I prefer the 20th version…
The line was something along the lines of “I like intelligent conversation”.
I’m telling you, Beast Wars is one great series. People with that “truck not monkey” attitude really need to sit down with an open mind and just enjoy the show. it’s got a great plot, great dialogue (the things they get away with between Silverbolt and Arachnia and Rattrap) I used to watch this series when it came on early on weekday morning, and I loved it (up until they became Beast Machines). Plus, Beast Wars Megatron is one of my favorite characters in the TF universe.
Hey, guys, if you haven’t gotten around to it, go directly to your comic book store and pick up all the issues of the new Beast Wars book. This ish is hard.

Inferno and Dinobot were definately my fave characaters, and “Code of Hero” is without a doubt the best episode of any TF show, hands-down. Watch it, and you’ll understand why…
No problem. The characters in BW are some of the most fleshed-out personalities I’ve seen in a non-live-action series.
My favs are Rattrap and Dinobot, easily. I like how they have a weird respect for each other. It’s great to see them crack on each other, but let someone else mess with them, and they go to the wall for one another.

One thing I like about Beast Wars is that they actually have a reason to transform.
Man I hope the shop gets Season 2 this week. @Dinobot & Ratrap, yeah man they actually duked it out in that episode ROFLMAO. Not to mention how Dinobot comments on the fact that killing Rattrap won’t earn him a place in Silicon Valhala, heehee.
I like how Inferno keeps calling Megatron his queen, but hey he’s like a 2nd Scorpinok, sucks he dies in Season 2. The one character I don’t like might be Cheator, dunno something about him just doesn’t interest me about him. Also thanks for the line.

Finished watching Season 2 & DAMN- Best season I’ve seen yet!
I SO loved the first 3 eps, specially when Dinobot was ‘going commando’ with all those weapons then the cowboy-like music starts playing, and Code of Hero was beyond awesome!
Can someone interpt Dinobot’s line before he hid one of the Golden disks? I’m having a hard time understanding what it is he’s sayin >_<.
I personally don’t like Transmetal Primal’s robot form, while his Beast Form has mixed feelings within me. …but some of my favourite quotes include-
Rhinox: “Comes…the dawn"
Dinobot:”…and…our doom"
Cheetor: "You mean fly?!"
Rattrap: “Do I mean…! No, I mean take a submarine, OF COURSE I MEAN ‘FLY’!”
I went ape-shit and brought 4 of the Dreamwave Transformers Posters (Finally got that Red Alert/Inferno I’ve been wanting), Issue 5 and 6 of the first volume of Dreamwave comics and nearly all of the ongoing series (which was cancelled), and I also picked up the OFFICIAL release of the HeadMasters DVD (JPN w/ English subtitles).
I’m sorry, but I’m in the “Truck, Not Monkey” camp…

Finished watching all 3 Seasons of Beast Wars!
IMO the last episodes could’ve been better-
1- Trantualus’ death could’ve been him fighting Tigerhawk & then the Vok come out and as he’s freaking out he goes boom like in the episode
2- Tigerhawk was SO un-needed IMO, so his death wasn’t a biggy from what I see
3- Inferno & Quickstrike shouldn’t have died man! They could’ve been sent back to Cybertron with Megatron, why’d they have to go die like that! Sucks man >_<
4- Transmetal Dinobot- I have no complaints he did his job well & his death was passable IMO, though the original Dinobot was MORE kickass.
5- Black Arachnia’s nose could’ve gone without the nostrals when she became a Maximal/Transmetal.
6- Depth-charge could’ve gotten more screen time.
7- Prehistoric humans are UG-LEE!
Overall I give this series a 9 out of 10.
IGN Filmforce has confirmed a recent rumor that Shia LaBeouf (Constantine, “I, Robot”) is in talks to play Sam/Spike in Paramount’s big screen Transformers adaptation, directed by Michael Bay and executive produced by Steven Spielberg.
A casting sheet making the rounds includes a description of the Sam character, as well as the humans in the film:
Sam(Spike) - teenage male, somewhat nerdy, but ultimately heroic.
Miguela Barns - teenage female, Sam’s love interest.
Cpt William Lennicks - 30s male, leader of the military.
Maggie - female, really hot, really smart, works as a codebreaker for the government.
John Kellar - 50’s/60’s male, US Secretary of State.
Glen Whitman - 20’s male, technogeek, comic relief.
I hope the humans dont overshadow the TF’s and i hope they arent 1dimensional characters…

For the fans, that would be great if the human characters wouldn’ overshadow the parts of the actual TF’s themselves, however that’s not going to sell a lot of tickets. Somewhere along the way, they’ll eventually get a big name attached to the film so it will hopefully draw in fans of that said actor/actress.
A human character in some way, shape or form, will have a great part in the film because viewers can assosciate in some way. Personally, I don’t have great hopes for the film so far.
I never did. The very fact that they’re going back to 1984 again told me that. There’s only so many different ways to tell the exact same story over and over.
