Behold: Down Syndrome Megatron in all his glory!

The derp is strong with this one.

I get what they were trying to do, but that headsculpt and cannon attachment make it an easy pass.

Interesting reuse of the Galvatron mold.

Wing Zero Gundam? It just looks very “Gundam’ish”.

It’s from the Battlestars manga in the Japanese continuity.

That honor belongs to Star Saber

Wow. It’s robot mode is bad ass. I mean. I like the sculpt over all but the robot mode looks cool as hell

It’s a very unique take on Megatron. Considering the mold that it is starting from, it’s a rather impressive retool.

Interesting to say the least. I don’t have any desire for it, but could see why collectors would grab it.

Cheetor Review

A reminder that one mode with (organic) beast figures always suffers. Looks like it’s the robot mode this time.

It’s crazy that people have access to and have shot reviews for a figure that hasn’t even been revealed to the public yet.

As a G1 fan who has only watched BW and doesn’t have any toys, it looks quite good.
The beast mode looks quite elegant and sleek especially compared to the 1996 original with a big undercarriage and thicker limbs.

The robot mode is good too. Less kibble visible and good proportions compared to Universe 2008.

Cons

The blue should be darker.
The whip should be a traditional gun.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a much better figure than both of the previous mainline offerings. The design team made sure that the beast mode wasn’t garbage. The smaller parts count is likely what got rid of the gun (both due to storage and presentation).

The MP shines here because it integrates both weapons. The fault of that figure is the faithful rendition of the alt mode. Coincidentally, this is what made Dinobot remotely possible.

That price tag can’t be right. At retail for eight voyagers is $240. This has to be a placeholder as most comparable sets to date are roughly the cost of the individual bots.

I’m digging the Blackarachnia figure good alternative over the MP.

Video Review

It’s a simplified version of the MP. My thought now are that the MP line is developed and then they strip out as many things as possible to create the CHUG version.

This guy is on a roll.

Watching the review is a bit painful. The is mainly because he doesn’t have an understanding of the reason why it’s designed the way that it is. Also, he must have someone raiding the factory. I expect it’s only a matter of time before they frag him.
