Matter of personal taste. I think CHUG is great, but prefer the way MPs look in the display.
It’s not like CHUG hasn’t done that before.
I’ll admit, I am somewhat surprised that the Coneheads didn’t appear in Siege. We already know we’re getting six seekers out of Earth Rise.
Seige definitely has better proportions, but ER is better articulated.

The thing I don’t get about the review is the complaint about the dragon mode. This thing is virtually a 1:1 upgrade of the original figure.
Plus I would display it in its beast mode anyways.
It’s a tricky road.
Imo some alt modes from G1 are mediocre or bad, whether they’re beast or vehicle.
Either you do a mostly “literal” update and keep the flaws or you try a new one but you upset G1 fans.
I guess since Hasbro is in a slavish update mentality they’re going to err on the safe side
The mouth of the dragon looks weird with the mandibular area being made of the headmaster feet.
Overall it’s not bad. It looks more cute than threatening to me . Maybe it’s the bright colors for the dragon arms and mouth.
I like Snapdragons beast mode more than Double dealers though.
At least he has regular light gray/off white plastic unlike Apefaces “soapy” plastic and a waist swivel. And no battle damage!
Got notification that MP-49 and MPM Megatron are getting delivered today. It was shipped out on early Monday AM/Late Sunday from Japan.

MP Nemesis Prime
While I like MP Nemesis Prime, the flat look pales in comparison to MP-10B. They went for just colored plastic with this version. I will admit that it feels sturdier than MP-44. The head antennae are also fixed. I’d recommend only if you just want a black repaint of Prime. After they release a true to form Shattered Glass version, I’m done with the MP-44 mold.
MPM Megatron
It’s a beautiful trainwreck. It’s well built and captures the essence of the character. It’s also huge. It’s probably the size of Magnus and a head or two shorter than Star Saber. Recommend if you like the movie designs.

Just trying to have the end in mind when it comes to this TF collection.
I finished watching this a couple hours ago. Strangely, I would feel OK grabbing these to compliment the Siege Seeker mold.
If I didn’t have the old Classics Dirge and Thrust.,I’d probably get these.
Interesting how there is a distinct conehead within the actual nosecone unlike the previous one where the plane nosecone formed the head.
