I think I’ll grab Mirage and Hound after work. We have a G1 soundwave but I don’t know if it’s the remodel G1 reissue you mentioned like, a year ago. Lol.
Honestly, I have 0 desire for any G1 reissue. Prime is the only one that I own. Great for the time, but they are bricks by today’s standards.

That’s fair. I don’t know shit when it comes to transformers mold/sculpt/whatever you want to call it quality. Which is why I asked.
I only mentioned soundwave cause he’s one of my favorites and he came up when I was looking at our in store stock through the app.

Oh, I will say When I saw the Netflix Megatron I though he looked dope but the battle damage is a little too much for me. Plus he’s kind of a chonk so I wouldn’t know where to put him.
I don’t plan on deep diving into the TF toys. But it was a big part of my childhood so I’d like to own my favorites or cool looking reprints/reworks of my favorites. But I’d want the best version of each one. If that makes sense
I’d probably wait if you are looking for one to toy with. There is a Earth Rise figure coming. The Siege Version is good, but the paint apps and the fact that it essentially just lies down for it’s vehicle mode is nothing to really clamor for.
Supposedly there are more G1 reissues coming. That’s become a very niche market now. Most collectors want a figure that reminds them of what was in the show, not necessarily the toy. I can count the points of articulation on one hand for most figures 
. This coupled with their high price just keeps me away from them.

The first American release of an Astrotrain toy to have the cartoon color scheme.
Lots of guns.
The price and the “exposed” back of shuttle mode are the only negatives imo.
Though most Walmarts around me stopped selling the leader class ($50) I got mine from Target.
Cliffjumper has better articulation than Starscream,nice paint, looks good in both modes.
Negatives are short Size and you have to separate the rear windshield from the car to transform it.
I don’t have the Netflix figures you mentioned, but I have the Regular Mirage in G1 colors. It’s good

No Astro train but found WfC siege starscream. His face sculpt is so grumpy lol. No cliff jumper either
You will probably have better luck going to Amazon for Astrotrain and Cliffjumper.
I was lucky enough to find Ratchet on another site since most have ballooned up the price.

I’m likely heading to Best Buy on Tuesday so I’ll check there before I hop online.
I hate that most the transformers I want are the MP’s. The Cheetor and Dinobot are so fresh.
Still need them to make Rattrap though.
Be careful with Best Buy. The SKU is the same for all figures in a class. For example, if you are buying something at the Leader price point ($50), you could get either Astrotrain or Prime. That’s actually why I have Astrotrain . I found Prime about a week later just out and about.
Checked real quick Cliffjumper at 19.99 and Astrotrain at 49.99 with Prime delivery.

All those months avoiding scalper prices online and the gods had finally blessed me.
This is why I always checked the Transformer aisle every week I went to grocery shop at Wal-Mart.

It’s the best modern version of Prime in that class. The transformation is the best part honestly.
