My plan was to get two. One for the “official” version and the other I would customize so that it it’d be more screen accurate. Given that it’d be a numbered release for this run, I don’t care as much since I am going to open it and destroy the boxes.

I’ve actually been wanting that BPF POTP Dino Ko set for a while now but, always get distracted or need money for other stuff. The reviews i’ve read for them seem like the quality is Pretty Good for a KO set, and the KO boxes are really nice too (if your listing comes with the boxes).
I say go for it.

Also you claim Netflix Megatron is the best but, how do you feel about the upcoming Earthrise Megatron? I don’t think it’s different enough over the Siege robot & altmode, and am really not feeling that headsculpt here either:

They are good for what they are (despite lack of a waist swivel in the ER molds). I prefer the tetrajet mold in all honesty. Better articulation and it’s at least a bit different from the standard F-15.
If you are looking for a more accurate G1 representation, this will be it.
It’s OK. I will be skipping it for sure. While it’s closer to G1, there isn’t a lot different. Plus the sword accessory is terrible in comparison to the Siege mold.
You and I are both on the same page with the headsculpt. Looks like he’s wearing a top hat.
.I wasnt planning to, but I bought ER Starscream and the Target exclusive Tcracker/SWarp. I havent bought a Scream figure since 2006 classics and the others since 2013 FOC mold.
I wanted to have G1 accurate color schemes in the F15 form.
ER Megatron went down from Siege.
The only “improvement” is the alt mode.

I got EarthRise StarScream, alongside Siege Thundercracker & Skywarp. A nice compromise as both Seeker designs are pretty good.
Won’t bother with ER Thundercracker & Skywarp. They need to give those three a rest and start releasing Coneheads already!
Edit: I think that Earthrise Megatron is a total waste of time, effort, and not an improvement over the Siege mold in the slightest. It just doesn’t do anything different. It is merely another variation on the “G1 Megs w/Tank altmode” design and they already nailed it with Siege. This megs will probably be a shelfwarmer. I’d have much rathered they release an Earthrise Soundwave with proper Cassette form instead. Now THAT is the way to go if Hasbro wants to go back to the well, and score some of that character rerelease cheddar.

Well damn. I think i might FINALLY have my answer as to who to keep: Seige SoundWave or Soundblaster? Answer: Neither! The Siege Soundwave mold is excellent but, if this only improves upon it with a proper cassette deck mode? The siege mold can’t really compete.
Also my wal-mart finally got more new stuff, including Netflix SideSwipe. At first i hated the way he looked in the pictures, like someone put a cigerrate out on the figure’s hood. But seeing the figure in person? I can’t put my finger on it but, he still looks pretty cool.
I guess that’s the one thing i can say about the Netflix re-releases. The repaints are Good.
Edit: Also finally picked up ER CliffJumper and Wheeljack.

Also at 11:13 he has the right idea! Mainline’s have been crushing it for some time now, starting around the Titans Return days. Why do we still need Masterpeice again?
It’s a line for a more accurate representation of the character with much more articulation and a significantly higher attention to detail (e.g., paint). I won’t deny that they look good, but one is a collector piece the other is intended as a toy. Honestly it just comes to preference and wallet. For me, the MP line ticks more boxes.
Man, if these are a redo of the Dinobots, the value of the POTP Versions will tank.

I’m skeptical that the studio series which is Bay formers will suddenly become yet another G1 centric line with CHUG going strong.
Maybe these will be repaints of Bay style figures with G1 color schemes?
They did that previously. What makes me skeptical is that it mentions exo suit Spike. There wasn’t a character with that name in the Bay movies.

So, I’m pretty sure my work every Netflix figure right now. Which sculpt/mold/figure do you guys prefer or recommend as an intro? I’m looking at them right now. scrape face, hound and mirage at the stand outs to me, aesthetically anyways.
As an intro? I don’t own Mirage, but it’s transformation is pretty slick considering what it does. Scrapface (Reflector recolor) is only cool if you have 3 of them to make the camera mode. Hound is just a pretty solid figure in general.
