More or less. Every once in a while some resells will have a decent price.
Edit: I’ve seen a site called Transformersland but don’t know much about them.
If it’s mainline figures, it’s likely you will pay more. I’d only use it in the case where you don’t want to look for it, it’s hard to find, or it is on sale. Honestly, Amazon is a good source for the mainline figures. Target and Walmart online shops can give you what you need as well.

Generation 2 gave us 90s colors because reasons. Grimlock was released in the standard gray, turquoise, and dark blue.
Jazz does have a CHUG release. The best one is probably the Reveal the Shield (RTS) one but it’s quite a few years old. The one released in the Power of the Primes (POTP) line is pretty much meh.
Fun fact - They had to do a running change of the figure because someone made a cybertronian decal with the letters “MAGA” on the toy.
There is no official Jazz yet in the MP line (yes, we are all surprised). Porsche is very particular about their license and seems they are giving Takara Tomy a run for it. It’s the one autobot that should have been done years ago, but the licensing aspect is keeping it from release.

Collectors are pissed because it hasn’t happened yet. It will I just think it’ll be a while. I am thinking 2021. We have had a string of VW Autogroup characters. It’s only a matter of time. It’ll easily be the most sought after character. Pre-order as soon as it announced.
When you mentioned Grimlock, it reminded me that there was a BW repaint of Dinobot in white, black, and gold. I wonder if there are any plans to retool the MP. If there is some remolding done, I may actually consider buying it.

The line was built on repaints. That’s what I find funny about many of the collectors now. They think TakTomy is going to do something different.
Just look at the 1984 catalog.

In Siege we got 7 versions of the Seeker mold (SS, SW, TC, Rainmaker 3 pack, and Hotlink [Netflix deco]).

Its funny but SIEGE really gave me a lot of the classic 84 autobot characters in good forms that I lacked despite me starting with classics from its beginning n 2006.
Prowl - I was scared by Universe due to the sticky paint issue. CW looked good but I missed the hood titties.
Ironhide/Ratchet - Universe was an abortion in vehicle mode. CW Ironhide was ok, but didnt scream IH in robot mode imo.
Sideswipe - Missed the Universe SW in my area. FOC sideswipe looked weird in bot mode.
Mirage - Thought Classics Mirage looked weird in bot mode. CW wasnt in my area.
I would like a new Huffer. I missed out on the T30 Gears in my area.
Deceps: Needlenose, and Galvatron.
I love Scorponok as a character from Marvel but I am on the fence about buying a Titan at full price.
Galvatron just needs a Voyager size, Cannon with no headmaster or other gimmicks.
I just grab (1) version per character that i’m happy with, as a good representation of that character. Not buying endless repaints of the same guy. Ex: I’ve got Siege Ratchet and he’s great. Not going to bother with an Earthrise Ratchet and whatever else they come out with later.
UNLESS it’s a DIFFERENT character entirely, and somebody that was noteable in the mythos. Example: Starscream/Thundercracker/Skywarp. But again, must be a notable character. That Siege rainmaker 3-pack is a nice nod to G1 but, what ELSE have they really been in outside of that one episode? No sir.
I also don’t go after everything i think is cool. Being a TF fan, everything looks neat to me. It Has to be either a noteable character that i really like, or something REALLY cool.
Example: Siege six-gun. Yeah i know he was G1 Metroplex’s buddy and i like Metroplex but, the character itself? Has been in almost nothing. HOWEVER, his Seige figure looked tottally badass! Especially loved the headscupt. So i made the exception for him. However, i PASSED on Cog and Brunt (Fort Max and Trypticon’s pals).

This is really solid advice. This is honestly why I am jumping out of the CHUG game. While all of this stuff is pretty great, for the G1 characters, I have MP for that. Scaled down versions of generally the same thing just doesn’t work for me.
So many people went ape for that set. They literally were in one episode.
Only reason I grabbed those two was because I own both Titans. I am contemplating getting rid of Trypticon in favor of Scorponok.
Amazon JP charged the card for LioConvoy. Waiting for that shipment notification.
The new Scorponok is going to be 5 feet tall, right? Or at least it seems
