I am honestly OK with it. It is “serviceable”. A lot of Transformers fans don’t get that physic are a thing. The fact that Dinobot and Blackarachnia look pretty good in both modes is a testament to how good the engineers at TakaraTomy are.

Ok c’mon now, that is NOT a meaningful upgrade over the Siege Megs we got. Which was already great and looked the part of a G1 Megatron nicely. Especially mine in his fantastic 35th anniversary colors. Pass on this one.
Also i just spotted “Leader” class Siege Astrotrain at a Target and wha— he was in Earthrise packaging! Hmmm. I guess he did come out kinda late in Siege. The side panel showing the art of the character was changed to showing his Shuttle base mode getting ready to Blast off also.

Megatron is an obvious retool of the current figure. They are going to do a repaint for the Netflix show deco. I might pick that one up. The new figure is an easy pass.
Astrotrain has a running change. You can technically find it in both packaging styles.

I’ll PASS on that Smokescreen though, as i have the siege version. That Scorponok looks cool as hell but, like all Titan class figures, too ginormous to ever bother with for me.
Scorponok may be the only figure I’d grab. I have Fort Max and Trypticon. Interestingly enough, I spent less than $100 on both figures. Hasbro is getting smarter with the distribution for the Titan figures, so I don’t expect that one to get clearanced out. Everything else for me is a pass. Megatron’s headsculpt doesn’t look as good as I thought initially. I will say that the Netflix repaint for Megatron will something I’ll consider to replace the current one. It’s a significantly better deco.

A lot of these figures borrow from the MP Line engineering. ER Cliffjumper is a testament to that.
I have Jetfire. It’s the closest thing you will get to a proper (show) version of the character. If they do an MP, it’ll be crazy expensive. Some people use it as a stand-in. It doesn’t work that well since the additional detail ruins the cartoon aesthetic.

Wow. I just learned about this guy, KBB MCS-02. 3rd Party Bumblebee. Not only does the figure look great in it’s own right but, scales Perfect with Earthrise cliffjumper! Affordable too.
You’re better off waiting for the Cliffjumper repaint. It’s not terrible, bit the proportions just seem a bit off.
BTW Target has B1G1 50% off on all Transformers.

Personally, I have the original figure. The 12+ replaces the silver with white, larger chest symbol and tints the windows blue. You can’t go wrong with either frankly.
I also own the G2 variant. Really cool figure as well.
