I liked the demo. I like whatever it is Megatron’s class. I have only played a few action/shooters, but I really miss the 90 degrees turn from Lost Planet. I could quickly see who was shooting at me. In Transformers if someone is shooting me it takes to long to turn around, best option is to transform and get the hell out of there.

The game is officially released tomorrow. So far, the demo looks really promising. The last game was great, both in Single and Multiplayer.

Looks cool though and single player is pretty important to me storyline is make it or break it for me. Obviously. You can change the wheel but not reinvent it. IMO.

The movies or your feeling pretty much on anything negative from any Transformers media should not keep you from buying this game. The only thing that should stop you from buying this game is if you hate Transformers with such a feverish passion that you just might pop a blood vessel at the mere sound of anything transforming. Even if you aren’t a big fan of Transformers the game is going to be a solid 3rd person action shooter. I just got my copy tonight and I have it in my 360 as I’m doing my usual game news running around. Thought they would have used the more recent launch trailer for the game idling but they went with the first trailer. ‘Angel angel what have I dooooonnee?!’
I’ll probably put in a quick hour or so into it and give thoughts on it before I head to bed for those interested.
Yo…I now know why they cut off the autobot demo there like they did…That’s all I’m going to say on it for right now.
I played far longer than I wanted too getting caught up in this game and I’ll probably regret it in the morning lol. Game is good fun and you can tell that High Moon seriously cares about the characters. Graphics look nice of course especially with the extra splashes of color. Optimus’ campaign was good fun all the way up to the end. AI is quite smart and I’ve often times found myself getting flanked and nearly dead in seconds if I don’t take them seriously. I can already see this being a pain in the ass on harder difficulties especially in certain areas. Right now I’m escorting a bomb with Cliffjumper and I’ve failed it a few times…probably going to have to switch from the rockets to see if something else can get the job done. I don’t want to go too far into story bits but some surprising stuff has happened already that I’m unsure of the real outcome of in just Optimus’ story…I really want to dig back into this game but I need to sleep.
I bit the bullet and pre-ordered it yesterday off steam. Downloading it now, should be ready in 11minutes!
This is The Transformers, More than meets the eye. The Autobots wage their battle to destroy the evil forces of the Decepticons. They are on Cybertron, so no human involvement to mess things up.
If you have not played War for Cybertron, that would honestly explain why you are worried. High Moon did a great job of integrating the core element, transforming, into gameplay and created an awesome story to boot. If you are a fan, the little easter eggs are there to quench that thirst as well.
