So you can still damage people in truck form with the Destroyer?
Yeah, ever noticed when you jump as a vehicle (full speed) the “sonic boom” in front of the truck becomes yellow.
Not really, usually paying attention to my surroundings and not my model in those situations. Does it deal damage? About to go kamikaze ram some robots.
Just tried it against a full health Scientist, didn’t seem to do much of anything. No knockback, no noticeable damage as it took the same amount of shots as usual to kill the target. I think it’s just a cosmetic effect for a boost jump.
I thought it did, but never killed anyone with it. It’s something that I subtly noticed when playing. I assume ram exists because…

Single player has powers that MP doesn’t, even in the demo Vortex has the Shockwave ability from the first title. So I’m sure someone will be equipped with it, or it’s a situational thing involving simply hitting it.

EDIT: Eh, forced roles in Escalation…I don’t like that. Was fun previously to do teams of all Scouts or Scientists and speed around blowing shit up.
It’s like they thought we just wanted all our creativity poured into a half-assed Customization option for MP (I will not spend “hours upon hours” building bots) and just holds our hand in other situations.

And yeah I’m appreciating the Destroyer more since Sonichuman told me they don’t suck. I’ve come out on top in multiple 3v1 situations dues to the raw power and good guessing of it’s tools. Main weapon I have the self-detonation orbs, second the missile launcher. Scouts are so damn easy to kill.

If you’re in a mid range fight or in cramped quarters with a bit of space you can be a real asshole with the destroyer and proper use of his shield. I always have the rockets out first and try to make that my first attack…If I can’t clean up within the first couple of seconds then the shield usually goes up which usually means the person is either going to have to take his chances trying to get through the shield to get to me or try to make a run for it. Titans and their slow asses fuckin hate the shield at mid range.

None of the Gamestops in my area are doing a midnight release of FoC. I am a little pissed cause I took a day off for this (LIKE A BOSS). Despite the fact that I know I am going to get this game, pre-orders seem useless without midnight releases. While I love the bonus, I still think that we deserve complete games. I mean, the Aussies and New Zealanders got the whole damn set.
I just wonder if the two blasters are only for the Destroyer class?
Shit…they got 3 more things! My store is doing a midnight launch and we don’t even have enough to probably really do the launch. Thing more people have to put interest into actually reserving the title in order for most GS to see it as not being a waste of time. Case in point I though far more people would have came out for our Kingdom Hearts midnight launch and we had like 4 people lol.
