The slices have good damage but there’s never a good reason to use them unless you snuck up on a group of enemies and charging up the triple shot twice or more would be way more damaging than spraying into the crowd.
The Infiltraitor is broken as hell.
Why would they give him a high damage close range weapon(Shotgun, and it gives him almost full health back for every kill) a high damage mid range weapon(The pistol, and you can snipe with that thing, it does that much damage and has that much range) and a high damage long range weapon(The newly unlocked Sniper rifle, that you can charge for even more damage).
Where is the weakness in all of that? The class already has a small ass hitbox that shrinks even more in vehicle mode and they’re so fast their hard as hell it hit if they know how to move and dodge. They run easily because the vehicle mode is so fast and once they turn behind large cover they can activate the invisibility and lose you for good. They don’t even have the lowest health in the game and they can race to an energon cube easily because their so fast and their shotgun leeches health.
There is no way you can say that class is fair, all those pros and only one con(pun?) and the con isn’t really a con if you think about it.
That Infil sniper rifle needs to be toned down, Scientist gets whacked in two shots and it’s really not hard to use it compared to other titles sniping. Fought against a team with three Infil’s sniping the shit out of my team of pre-teens clogging up mics, was a pain in the ass.
I see the full game has more colors, thats great but I still think you should be able to choose which two colors you want along with the neon thats oozing out of every hole in your robot.
I’m still trying to find the best use for it myself…so far it does wonders for when you’re going into a fight against a titan with 3 blades charged up. The cons probably outweight the pros though since charging limits some things you can do.
The fact that they ricochet though might be good for firing into a room without actually going in it though…may need to test this.
I think scientist may become worse class to play in tdm. It’s awesome when have a good one on your team tho. Titanic are the bane of my playing exsistance because they can do so much damage super fast.
Took me a few games to learn infiltrator class as its my main class but I don’t think it’s broken.
I’m really enjoying the demo atm! I think I like Destroyers best, though Titans are pretty fun aswell. I really wanna unlock the other gun available for them.
I actually sent a message to their feedback email for allowing a real customization of colors. The color choices are decent, but far from what I really want. Why can’t I have a Black Convoy DAMNIT!
I also sent someone’s suggestion about the coneheads as well
It is, don’t delude yourself because you like it. I enjoy Scientist but find it pretty shitty compared to the first title, outside of a good team role in Conquest.
I’m liking the Titan more recently, probably because I can pump out a ton of damage and it’s easy as hell to play, so I can just relax more. Finally figured out how to do the damn hoverwheels in the Destroyer class.
Hope they release more G1 skins as DLC later on. Paid the game off earlier today, just two more weeks.
Scientist class is not nearly as strong as it was in the last game. They are great for support though, and still very capable (especially in vehicle mode).
Don’t think this was posted yet, interesting look into a few more maps, abilities, and weapons for classes in MP. There does indeed seem to be more skin color options but sadly no kill streak bonuses.
I think that Rifle he had on the Scientist will do the class wonders, to bad it’s not unlockable in the demo.
GG’s, Infiltrators are annoying, but I only really get mad when 4 of the six enemy members is playing them with sniper rifles, lol. Try to play some more tomorrow and max out my levels finally.
The fact that they have Sniper rifles is fucking ridiculous in it self.
Why would they give the close range class a long ranged weapon? the whole point of scout classes in class based shooters is to go in a light up the enemy teams up close while the big guys are behind shooting from a distance. This makes them more of a selfish class because they have everything they could want and they don’t need back up nor will they give it unless they’re playing with friends.
What they honestly need to do is give the chargeable sniper rifle to the sniper/medic(A.K.A. Scientist) and give that mid range multi-hitting buzz saw the the close to mid range scout.
This shit seems pretty obvious, and makes a lot more sense.
It was more like that in the first title, when weapons had a more universal application. So you could be the Jet with the Sniper rifle and find an advantageous perch to lay down the law. Although they could also get the Shotgun of the title, and with careful timing of the slide you could go in, score a one-hit kill, and leave before any retaliation occurred.
I think they just over-nerfed the Jet due to what good players could do with it in the first title, and now it’s only useful in Conquest as a healer and weak secondary attacker. I still use it simply because I love to fly and for some reason I am good at this game, but still.
All the stuff thats available for it in the full game can let you basically turn it into a glass cannon.
3-round burst rifle as primary, for sniping(plus whatever damage or fire rate buffs you can add)
Assault rifle as the secondary(again with the buff attachments)
Sentry gun(With a damage or defense buff)
you can basically fuck some people up with the AR then fly away and recover health, or snipe them with the powerful 3 round burst rifle and set up a sentry for defense, so you can have something to cover you and alert you when someone is coming your way.
Glass Cannon gives off the vibe that you do a large amount of damage and burst but at the expense of paltry defense and risk to yourself. With a three-round burst rifle and AR that doesn’t really fit. At that point you’d be doing a moderate to high amount of damage with fairly no risk considering you would not be close with that set-up.
Burst Rifle looks nice, but not Sniper Rifle nice let’s get that out of the way now. I’ve seen a Sniper take a Titan down in two hits, whereas even nailing headshots with the Burst Rifle in match vids It takes about nine rounds, three pulls of the trigger.
Also it seems most levels are intentionally designed to not allow the Jet perches like in War, most of the higher levels are accessible by most classes barring two or three areas I’ve seen and only one in the demo level.
Sentry does seem cool but I don’t know if I would take it at the expense of Heal, especially with some of the interesting healing buffs you give yourself when using it.
There was something said that if you have the DLC skins for War they transfer to Fall. Does this also include the Arcee and other female skin you got from completing War? If so I need to rush through that title again.
Also the first pack skins are already in the game, maybe they unlock earlier. That or Zeta and Dead End are the only ones they were referring to.
