I’m the best damn player in the game, other Scientists are afraid to take to the skies when I’m patrolling. Once I get my Ripper Blades tomorrow I’ll be even more prepared to whip robo-asses.
I swear of all the games I played it seems I’m the only scientist user on PSN that knows how to get kills and lay down some decent support.
I have yet to see any other scientist user even think that they maybe should fly on top of a high place and snipe with the AR(if you have the optic sight thingy that removes recoil) and the orbital pistol to weaken enemies for your teammates to kill.
When Sonichuman and I were playing some dude insisted on staying in Jet form and trying to kill us on flags, INSIDE BUILDINGS. Naturally he made for an easy kill, as he refused to heal his team or ArmPen people with the pistol and simply shot rockets. I got a 5-kill Air to Air streak off of him.
Most Scientists I see keep trying to play like a Soldier, rush in and tanking damage and inevitably dying. It’s a hit and run, and Support class that needs to be played with precision. Not as lenient as it was in the first title (Shotgun/Sniper Rifle with Drone, to damn easy to get kills). maybe that’s where the issue stems from.
As scientist I just hover over people shooting them in jet form than quickly transform drop behind them and shoot for easy kills, and than fly to the other side o f the map before teammates come.
I need some of you guys to add me. My bro and I will need teammates for Escalation!

Scientist is practically made for Support through and through since simply by flying to a high spot they can easily survey the field and see where the action is. Scientist and Destroyer are pretty much my classes of choice currently. Being in an enclosed space and then suddenly throwing out that shield and forcing the other person or group to deal with it. Especially if you’re trying to defend an area.
I can’t remember if this was mentioned but for DLC you’ll be able to play as Insecticons and Dinobots. It was mentioned during comic con from Greg in this video at :41

I didn’t touch the infiltrator yet because I have a thing about not using OP characters.
Though the scout was one of my mainly used classes in WFC.
and I hope that DLC lets you turn into the dinobot vehicle forms(at least everyone except Grimlocks T.Rex form because that would be broken as hell, maybe have him turn into a cybertronian monster truck tank which would be fucking ridiculous).
I wanna be a robo-dactyl scientist! they already have the dinobot heads, as you can see in the demo.

Yep pretty much this class is the one I always use.

Form the Virtual Seekers, and kick lots of asses from the air.
On a side note we need Coneheads for a Scientist head so we can make Dirge, Ramjet, and Thrust knock-off’s.
I wish these guys were a little more creative and added stuff like secret transformations/parts for reaching the highest level or completing challenging tasks.
Scientist: Paper Airplane(paper parts)/Small 737(Pilot themed parts)
Infiltrator: Model-T(early 1900s themed parts)/Toy Car(toy robot parts)
Destroyer: Shortbus/Ice-cream truck
Titan: Garbage Truck/Robo-Trojan Horse(Trojan themed parts)
the dino-bot and insecticon parts are cool and all, but they aren’t unique enough for me.

Yo…those slicers that you get at level 8 for the scientist hurt like a BITCH when you charge up 3 of them.
