Movie was alright In my opinion. I was never really into transformers as a kid except for beast wars, and that was just a little bit so I really didnt have anything to compare it to except for the other 2 movies. I think this was the most well done out of the 3 tho
the only parts i didnt really understand was how like 6 autobots and some niggas in bat suits defeated this whole interdimensional army of decepticons. Seems like they should’ve been outmatched to me
Also when that nigga megatron was just chillin in the back ally depressed after he got punked, what kind of shit was that? I know he was supposed to be damaged from the last movie but Its like megatron went out like a bitch in this one, again im not too familiar with the source material but the whole setup was just kind of awkward seeing how he was such a key character the past 2 movies. and when sam’s girl starts talking shit, why the fuck didnt he just kill her? He had such a blatant disregard for human life in the others you would think he wouldnt sit there and be berated by some random hoe. And to top it all off in the end he goes crazy and fucks everything up and then just starts rambling while optimus prime is just standing there, forgetting that optimus prime was his main enemy from the beginning, and then optimus just finishes him off? I dont know it just came off as anti-climactic to me
whatever tho i wasnt expecting an oscar winning story. The action and graphics were entertaining so i give the film a good review
and during the plane dive scene did anyone notice there is this dumbass who gets his batsuit like caught in the door and all the others just dive over him as he struggles to get loose. Hilarious
Yeah, it was suppposed to demonstrate that it was a surgical strike. Once they “broke in”, the cons fell apart problems. Didn’t carry out the best, but they made it work.
Megatron definitely went out like a bitch. The “Time to Find Out” scene becomes hilarious after repeat viewings. I think that they animated Prime’s face so well during that scene. I honestly thought that when Megs asked “Who would you be without me, Prime”, clearly Prime emoted a reserved, “OH NO THE FUCK YOU DIDN’T”.
At this point I kinda of chuckle to myself whenever, in Transformers Prime, they spare a helpless Decepticon on the thinking of “What would Optimus do?” If they were talking about movie Optimus, the choice would be clear…
Here’s a clip about the soundwork done in the movie.

This is pretty impressive. I saw the movie again recently, and the bit mentioned at 5:52 is during the driller scene. Even though its only for a few seconds within the “Prime Theme”, it is noticeable.
It’s only visible on the mobile site. Unfortunately, its stated that the 2disc version will be available in December. I’d rather get that version since all of the How it was done will be included.
All the ‘How it was done’ will be included in the Blu-Ray right? I need something else to watch on my PS3 besides FFVII Advent Children Complete so this might be a good start.
To be honest, if it is a single disc release (which is what I am hearing) then I highly doubt it. I really would like to watch this movie on Blu-Ray, but I don’t want to buy it twice. I love watching the how it’s made sections and commentary of home releases. It makes you appreciate the move more, despite its flaws. That was the biggest issue that I had with Batman Begins when it initially came out. There was no commentary on its release.
The 2 Disc Special edition (3D) should be out in December.
Transformers 3 is essentially what T2 should have been. It has dumb stuff in it but its few and far between and they go by quick. The action is top notch stuff especially near the end of the movie. Definitely worth a watch.
Yep, twas what I did with Avatar, AceTurnedJoker put me on to the REAL release near the holidays…so I just waited. I’m not sure if I’m coppin’ this one or not - might wait for like a boxed set since I never bought the second one either, and my first one is just DVD.
I might just have to sit this out for the moment. I am going to buy it, but I don’t want to get my wallet raped, especially with the Star Wars set coming out at next week!
To be honest, I doubt a box set would be different, if not worse than what is currently available. I doubt there will be anything added. I would say buy them separately at this point. If you are to consider buying ROTF, get the Wal-Mart Big Screen Edition. It features all the scenes that were shot in IMAX at there intended aspect ratio and you get a few extra clips during the Forest Battle.
No doubt, that makes sense. However, the definitive version of ROTF (due to the aspect ratio and the extra clips) is the Wal-mart Big Screen Edition. Since ROTF’s greatest quality is the Forest Battle, I would definitely do that version. I don’t think that a 3pk would include it since it was only available at Wally World. If they do, that will be a great chance to get all 3.
As stated earlier, I didn’t go and watch T3 because I got ripped off paying to watch that piece of garbage T2. Once a good torrent for T3 shows up, I’m going to download it, watch it, then immediately wipe it from my computer like fecal residue.
