I would have prefered the twins explained away with one line from Optimus:

This movie was fucking great. I would easily see this movie 3-4 more times. I can’t decide if this movie or the first one is the best of the 3. I recommend everybody go watch this movie cause this shit was epic.

everyone kinda had battle ready guns n shit. so i think we’re just expected to think since the decepticons are still around, everyone got minor upgrades ready for war. they never really explain it. he just says a line about it being in his trailer.
fun trick for the movie. the movie becomes alot more fun when you start randomly giving nest team members gi joe names. we had a roadblock, duke,tunnel rat,dial tone,wild bill, and heavy duty.
That would work too. Any explanation in reference to them would have been fine. Acting like they never existed fucks up the story a bit.

The characters are not racist as not one time did they discriminate themselves and/or show inherent superiority to any race of people. Skids and Mudflap were a composite stereotype. Not trying to be rude, I just wish people would get that right. In the novel they actually are in it.

When Sentinel Prime starts his rape party, the twins try to heroically stop him from blasting Ironhide. Unfortunately, they all get it.
A fitting explanation for their “absence” IMO.

When he is the copier and the guy tries to operate it, the copier tones were arranged in the scene switch bumpers from the original cartoon
their a racist character because they talk in the manner of basically a charicature. yes, a stereotype would be the more correct term, but you knew what i meant exactly so clearly the point got across. i’m not writing a term paper, so being super accurate shouldn’t matter.
I know, as I have debated that issue with a number of people in my circle. However, you can’t be racist when you aren’t alienating a particular race, that’s all I’m saying. Trust me boss, wasn’t trying to get my “Maximum Douche” on.
the way they talked was as if they were 50’s black people…so it did really target a certain race. and if i remember correctly their were references to gold teeth and bling as well. but i havent seen it since i saw it originally in the theater.
its the same problem jar jar binx had essentially, but this is just my opinion. no hate if you dont agree.
my bad but yeah i did like that his trailer actually had some use in this movie. Better than T1 and waaay better than T2.

In all honesty, he was cut. I don’t think he’s even referenced in the novel. No biggie, really wouldn’t have been needed if he stayed a Concorde

For the faceplate, they used a different timing and sound effect for that scene. It closed much faster and had a slightly heavier sound. Whenever that thing closes, faces get given!

sweet sounds even better than expected. but like the other I expected very little and wasn’t ever disappointed.
silverbolt? was he in the previous ones? honestly i thought the autobots had alot more allies still alive. felt like the autobots shouldnt have won lol. it was like 6 million deceptions to like 6 autobots and a squad of gi joe.
If anything i think this movie is fucking with peoples heads who went into it hating it. I don’t blame them for having that mindset going into this movie BUT damn some of the people i’ve asked about how they felt about this movie, its like pulling teeth just to get them to say it was an actually genuinely good movie.

ok all i know is that TF 1 was decent. they could have cut like half the characters from the movie and improved the fight cgi (it was hard to tell apart transformers) it’d have been good.
then I watched the godawful stinker that was TF 2. ROBOT FUCKING HEAVEN? it was horrific.
If people say its better than TF2 I will watch it.
