Came from a private showing in 3D just and hour ago…gotta say it got the 3D parts right and man ohh man Chicago (20 mins in NW IN folks) did it take a beating. Flinched at the fights and the story was actually good this time around. humor was placed right and explosions were held in. I say go see it and have fun folks give that 3D a good look or get it on a deal and man looks like i gotta cop some large size transformers when i can. Trust me those who live or work in Chicago will go have fun with this. Hey but what do i know i liked the first for trying hated the second and actually like the third very much.

Easily the best movie of the trilogy IMO, definitely made up for the clusterfuck that was RotF…just don’t expect to give a shit about any of the characters, lol.
P.S. - Expect Optimus and Bumblebee to get ALOT of applause from the audience, ESPECIALLY Bumblebee…

Story was solid IMHO after what we got in rotf, Megan who? new chick just has more on screen swag than Fox. Don’t get me wrong at first I was like eh its gonna be weird but nope first shot of the new girl you 4get all about megan.
Micheal Bay took us on a action roller coaster, that is some of the best cg I’ve ever seen. For once we cared about the autobots you know–no spoiler but you will feel that same animated movie pain when things go down…
Bay visually gave us battle la, district 9, avatar, etc it was just draw dropping visuals. The human element finally took a back seat to the transformers. Of course humans push the movie because we are on earth but it just felt like we were more so in the background.
could try to say something bad about the movie but I really can’t…that first chase seen guys I know me and my boys was like wtf this shit is way to G. Before I go thank you again Bay for fixing Optimus I loved Optimus back in the day but he was too soft. This Optimus is just so G it’s not even funny.

8.9/10 worth every bit of money you can put together to see it. My only complaint is that I didn’t see it IMAX 3d. but I will sometime this weekend.
holy mother of god…you know i stanned hard for ROTF and thought it was a decent enough movie but wow Transformers 3 came off like someone sat Bay down and told him to cut the crap with the dumb shit and give us a coherent movie and he delivered.

The action was freakin solid especially in chicago

Even though the human aspect was on the backburner somewhat, it was still decent enough that it didn’t detract from the overall movie.
Optimus was OG as usual picking up where he left off at in ROTF. I especially liked that his trailer finally had some use as like a weapons backpack of sorts.
I honest to god can’t see anyone hating this movie outside of the people that just hate Bay and want a G1 Transformers movie. I may see this again 2 more times by the end of the weekend.
Well I didnt care for the other two and the only reason why i saw it was because i got free tickets, and good thing i didnt pay for it this time. It was like watching the Return of the King’s ending x5… shit draaaaaagged and you thought you would never see the ending.

I seriously felt like it was 3 hours in the city, you knew that teleporter was gonna get shot down the question was WHEN… and it never seemed to happen until suddenly, before you know it Optimus smacks it or something… hell i dont even remember anymore shit what garbage. Not trying to troll but seriously why do they keep making these movies standard 2 and a half hours? and STILL include those goddamn annoying parents!

Overall, a solid film. Leaps and bounds over ROTF. Yes, it has the worst title, but it is also the best out of the set hands down. The TFs play more into the movement of the events. The way Sam is treated makes perfect sense in its context. I do think that Bay needs to fire his editor. The film could have easily had about 15-20 minutes hacked off. Outside of that, no real complaints.
So this was way better then the second film, yes?
I’m fine with it if it is, that’s all I’m looking for.

Yeah, this one was the best one. I watched this for free, but I’ll gladly pay to watch 3 more times. Bay finally got it right.

Will go buy tickets today and watch it tomorrow =) Sadly the 3D here is primitive (heck out theaters are primitive by other countries standards), so I’ll most likely watch in 2D if it’s available.
Seeing it tomorrow for free, only way I would really. Since I hate Bay and these films let’s see how it turns out.

This movie finally got it right. I will think that the length will bother you as it does feel like 2.5 hrs. However, once the invasion starts, you won’t give a damn. People who just generally hate Bay will hate this movie. It’s basically the culmination of his style of directing.
