LOL, originally I thought part of the reason Capcom delayed the Ibuki DLC for 2 months was for this figure ^_^;; the current release date of the figure is January 2017 ā¦
i am kinda mad that in a world where you have decent cross up and command dash that can also be used for crossups that shit is being beat clean by fcking jabs that lead into being mixed up
Really then? If that was the case I would of been ok with that. I think eveyone else was just confused to why she didnāt come out as planned. January? Oh boy, bae playing hard to get I see. (Kappa)
Iām starting to see more people v-reversal her options. I think I did see some tech before that covered that, but not sure where it is.
just found out that her j.MP has 3 jugle points, which means that you can combo into it after a ex kunai, a bomb, etc. Havenāt found a reliable way to make a crossup/non crossup guess game, but i thought that I should let you guys know
not really sure if anyone else has been doing this or not, but the sako V-Trigger combo extension (ex kunai, 2nd bomb cancel, dash forward, f+hk) can be added to any v-trigger reset that allows for a hk dash, air kunai followup. basically the use for opting for this as opposed to the classic sako combo is that youāre resetting the damage and doing quite a bit more. for instance something i was practicing last night was cancelling to v trigger from grounded kunai, then doing s.mp, lk, mk or lk dash reset, immediate hk dash, air kunai, ex kunai, 2nd bomb vtc, dash forward, f+hk, side switch mixup. they have to guess wrong twice, but it does a ton of damage, especially if you get the 2nd reset into a bnb combo. Iām sure thereās much much more dirty resets that allow for an air kunai followup than the one i posted, as well.
another thing, instead of going for the mk dash in the situation i just posted, you can cancel the lk into hk dash, then instant air kunai for a really ambigious setup and land and hit cr.lp, lk dash for another reset. if they guess wrong, go into a 2nd bomb combo with ex kunai if you have the meter. or land a combo into super and save the 2nd bomb for another setup or combo.
i feel like if you have all these variations of resets and never do the same reset twice in a set, itās really difficult for the opponent to deal with. i was thinking of just writing down every reset i can think of on a notepad and then looking at it between rounds and deciding which ones i will do beforehand so im not thinking about it in-game and messing it up. take into account which way they blocked, though, of course.
If you could put these into a coherent list or make a video thatād be great. Sounds interesting and a way to make the more kunai intensive resets worth it.
working on a video now. do you know any light video recording software that isnāt Fraps? for some reason my fraps video have a weird orange tint on them, and also itās kinda killing my fps -.-
found a few more variations on similar concepts so im gonna try to make a video with all the different variations i find.
How do you AA Bison stomp and Nash moonsault? With Cammy I can just b.mp them 120% of the timeā¦does Ibuki have anything like that? Iāve been trying j.mp and air throw and theyāre too risky unless Iām timing them wrong or something.
basic premise of what i was talking about. it works off of any reset that you can land an air kunai form. just another way to get into the sako extension if people are getting used to the basic one.
honestly i just block the stomp and when they go for devils reverse i just air-throw them. then they either stop doing it entirely or pop devils reverse so early trying to bait you that you can just walk/dash under and punish. works against ex stomp too.
Thanks to the expert advice in this thread I actually won some matches, but it still feels like playing more difficult and weaker Cammy. Is that how itās supposed to feel?
