Hey guys! I had a lot of fun at that first event. Thanks to Frank, Josh, Jacob, Fae… and all those involved with putting this on. I didn’t realize so many people would show up just to have fun and watch, and it really was a great place to hold it.
Now people have already brought up the in-between practice issue, but something I thought I’d also mention, is I felt very disadvantaged sitting in front of the commentators. I don’t think too many people had a problem with it, but I know it definitely made me more nervous than I already was.
Is there anyway we could set it up next time so there is more space between the commentators and the players? Or if we are in that situation again, can we at least have a coin toss for sides? I know I’m sounding lame here but if it was an issue for me, I’m thinking it could have been an issue for other people in the future.
I think they actually wanted to move the commentators for the back so it wouldn’t pick up on the audio from the game. But I get where you’re coming from. I was thinking about playing without my headphones on because I have some tricks I use via audio cues (like those gross random ultras I did, I usually do it off hearing the hadou sound 
) but other people talking about my match is usually what makes me nervous.

Jared really stepped his shit up since we played at NWM. Too fun to watch. Made me really, really nervous not confirming c.MK xx fireworks. And saw a lot of bad timing on Engine. Dope matches, though. Brent’s Vega is scary shit.
Jones had me going. Dude was pretty fucking consistent (from what I could tell) with b.MK xx Flame. And those teleport shenanigans look like fun. I can only seem them working a few times in a match and primarily against a non-fireball character. All in all, was a tense match. Brent’s Vega is scary shit.
I can’t really say anything about the Geef match. Does Geef go negative against Vega? That was kinda lopsided. Brent’s Vega is scary shit.
