Yeah, I thought winning was one point. That’s why I brought it up, just wanna make sure that shit is ACCURATE (especially since if it’s not accurate and that’s the way it’s recorded in the official log, it could cause some issues/drama later in the season.
Good shit last night. I was really happy to see how hype people got for all of the matches. I think this also the most Seattle players I’ve seen in one place since the PAX tournament, and most of them were just there to watch.
Frank, good shit setting this up. If last night was any indication, this could be something special.
Oh and hey frank I think the point system Jeff was talking about would actually work really well.
I was thinking if team A gets 3 wins vs Team B who got 2 wins than Team A should get 3 points and Team B should get 2 points. You could even still add extra 1/2 points for OCV’s. I think this would be more ideal because it would separate a team who consistently gets OCV’d from a team who constantly goes down to the wire but loses. Just a thought.
We should aslo still get that 1 point =D lol

I really need to watch that video though, I know exactly where I messed up but I need to watch it over and over so I cry a bit on the inside.
I am going to try to make it out next week even though my team isn’t playing, I think it went really well Frank, there were a few strange randoms there but everything seemed to be under control. My only recommendation is an additiona setup or two for warmups so that we don’t have all that lag between rounds. And then we can open it up to casuals after the TWs matches are over or something.
edit: nothing wrong with randoms though, more people to the scene is generally only a good thing.

I thought you guys were going to go Viper/Rufus/Sim because I thought Vivek was the drunkest of the three of you lol. Was trying to avoid your Viper just because you have played me enough to know a good amount of my shenanigens If you guys have a practice session or something let me know, I need work on all three of those matchups.

Nah, the 1-0 symbolizes that we have a point for our victory. The OCV: 0 points means that our bonus points thus far are at zero. Because we didn’t get a leadoff OCV.
the boss is having some kind of fund raiser so he said if everyone could bring 3 childrens books there would be no drink minimum. they can be new or used but probably not with the pages falling out and stuff

This might be tricky in some situations. For example, your team had only 2 people show up. So if you beat 2 people on your opponent’s team, and then lost, both you and them would end up with 2 points. But I guess a no show could just count for a point…so your opponent’s team could get one point for free even if they never won…
I think it would also call for the OCV to need to be worth more than 1/2 point.
I dunno. I think simple is better.
The only discrepancy I had was that it said we had 0 points total but it was a typo like i figured and frank handled it like I knew he would
