Tougeki SBO 2011 - ST

I nominate geo as the most butthurt SRK member of the year.

guys do you know something about dj being top tier? im very curious about that

Quoted for emphasis.

-trolls suck-

ultracombo - when you start with ad hominem, it’s clear who has won the argument.

apparently, this comes from a twitter message by Seth Killian :

Don’t know what it can be anyway. Dee Jay is already considered as high tier, maybe a disavantageous match up has been shown to be in dee jay’s favor or something like that, I guess.

from nohoho, damn you s-kill ;_;

That was an anonymous comment on NH2’s blog, it could be just speculation. I would wait for confirmation from s-kill that this is the case.

Deejay has always been close to top tier (not always, but certainly within the last 5 years or so), and I would think that s-kill would be up on ST’s rankings at least before the last couple of years.

Surprised Dic isn’t in high tier with Chun/Ryu and DJ. Are each of the four tier levels in order of ranking horizontally or no?

Sir, you are a joke.

lol

I’m in my thirties with a kid, a career, etc. That stuff has no effect on my whatsoever, because I left it behind 20 years ago in the playground.

so why reply to it?

Why reply? Precisely to make the point that I did. I had previously made several points about game balance, based on claims that were made by Ganelon. Ultracombo replied with the “butthurt” insult but no counter argument (as per usual). Nohoho then made his laughable comment. Everybody else who is reading this thread can be the judge of the characters of all involved.

Like you starting a hdr vs st debate in a ST thread?

-trolls suck-

Guys, please relax or move the antagonism elsewhere and let this thread serve its purpose for Tougeki Super Battle Opera 2011 info. I didn’t see a need to comment further on balance since I presented what I had and linked to Kuroppi’s page with historical results from majors of all levels so, as geo mentioned, readers are free to form opinions themselves.

As we all know, there’s no way to objectively determine what a majority thinks without a poll and a healthy sample size. For anybody who didn’t relate ST with balance, then perhaps ST’s results at Tougeki, esp. compared to the Yun/Yang-ridden results in the AE sister tourney, will be a pleasant surprise.

I clicked on the “report” button. You’ the biggest instigator on SRK.
DJF, HUSH!

BTW, is there hope we could see footage of the matches?
Like, will SBO release a DVD with ST?

I heard that this secret DeeJay technology was… cr fierce. Like walking around and pressing cr fierce more.

I dunno, that’s what I heard.

whoa i didnt even see that post by nohoho. granted i dont know him very well but that was really un nohoho-like.

Is that -n a fake nohoho?

-trolls suck-

Otochun was saying, last year, that “people thought D was retired, but he had a strong Ryu.” And he had already mentioned the power of Dee Jay, which, I guess, has been displayed again this year. NH2 had stated, in his blog, that Gunze was very strong, recently. But I did not expect this team would win.

I did not check a single match. GF (well, sort of) and paid streaming, damn it. :frowning:
