The cronicles of Marvin: Cold blooded
Matt actually posted this in #gtasf but i thought i’d let everyone hear about this. Well, we’re sitting in the hotel room with some jersy guys playing 3s and marvin decides to be himself. During a match, Marvin gets up and and all hell breaks loose:

everyone "?!?!?!?!"
marvin “THAT GUY!” *points at the guy playing
marvin "doesn’t he look like hes sucking a dick?!?!?!"
everyone is fucking shocked

After a good 5minutes of laughter, they resume their game BUT everyone now is watching the guy’s face when hes playing. The guy does look like hes doing the deed, but god you don’t have to put him in a bucket and shoot him.

Marvin vs Josh Wigfall: 3s Singles. Winners Finals
-It’s no secret that I was the top seed in my bracket. Even FlashG, who just met me at ECC, said to me “yeah it’s probably going to be Josh qualifying with you” (for my pool). But just because I’m the top seed doesn’t mean that I’m going to qualify undefeated. I already heard that Josh uses Chun Li so i knew that I couldn’t underestimate him.
To sum up the match, Josh Wigfall is shit at 3s.
He can link the super pretty well, but that doesn’t really mean anything. I beat the guy perfect the first round and almost double perfect the 2nd round (i was beating him perfect, and then i parried his low forward and blocked his super). And then i finished it with whiff throw -> super
i played it the same way i would play most Chun Lis; I mass that sweep when i see her whiff a fierce, And when she didnt have meter, I mass it even more. Wasnt very hard.
Josh Wigfall didn’t qualify btw. He lost in the loser’s finals to FlashMetroid (another shit player).
C-Royd vs Flash Metroid: Casuals
Saturday night in Baltimore Chun’s hotel room, Flash Metroid kept saying that he wanted to play in 3s on sunday. So on sunday I played him. He uses Yun and knows the genei jin combos. However, He’s a pattern player. Always goes for the chain combo when he dive kicks so i always parried it. And when I beat him, i told him that he needs to switch up what he does after the dive kick. He refused to listen to me and kept doing that same thing overand over again. After the match, he said “i was doing the chain combo because you told me not to, and I tried to make you think that I wouldn’t do it”. Good job, buddy. It worked wonders. He’s lying btw. That’s not really why he kept going for the chain combo. He just didn’t want to listen. I know when someone’s lying to me. Aside from the easy parries, i played textbook ryu vs yun. Jump when he jumps and hit him. I win!
I tried to give him tips and he simply wouldn’t listen. He has a lot to learn about 3s. It’s too bad that it’s going to take him longer if he doesn’t take constructive criticism well.

im trying to step into this 3rd strike game.
ive been playing on live for a bit ( thanks to psychochronic for the heads up about the scene here).
but im still a newbie.
i recognize a few names, that being Geminite and B4K4 (what up!). b4 will know me off the bat, gem im sure doesnt know this screen name (does “Nate-Dog” ring any bells? thats right, its me foo!).
so anyway, im just making my presence known. ill probably be coming out to some of the events that goes down.

ive played 3s at a couple of arcades already, Metro and downtown Funland. i didnt see many people playing there though. im guessing that Orbit is the choice arcade here, am i wrong?
