gns: how does your plexi top stay? You don’t need to use screws or anything?

Oh and where did you get the bottom…I don’t know what they’re called…the 4 white thingies at the corners?

Do you have to change those batteries all the time?

They are 2700mAh batteries for a total of 5400mAh compared to the stock 3600mAh on the plug and play charge kit pack.

I have been using this setup for the past 2 weeks and play about 3 hours a day. I have yet to charge the batteries and still have 3 bars of charge left.

Im considering building the charge circuit i saw floating around here on the forums.

Hey pppp. The plexi stays on top via screw in buttons ; therefore, you get a beautiful clean looking top … that is why Joe’s box is designed with them.

Here is the other post where I modded the box to accept snap-in without forcing the tabs in.

You don’t have to mod it but you will soon realize that the tabs are going to be pinched in all the time and if you look at them closely at a later date you will see the stress created by it and the tabs will eventually break (don’t know when however never tested it thoroughly enough ;p)

Either way the box will still requires 2 screw-ins to keep the plexi secure.

The four thingies are rubber stoppers found at any home hardware … in this case homedepot. They are in the cabinet accessory area to prevent cabinet doors from “banging” into the frame of the cabinet. Conveniently they have four per box.

Here is a pic of it. ignore the screw and metal sleeve … I was experimenting with something. The package comes with one wood screw per rubber stopper so you should be good to go
